Josh provided exceptional support throughout, responding to all our queries, helping us bring our vision to life and liaising effortlessly with our suppliers. The Hovels staff were highly professional and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. Our guests were full of praise for the venue’s beautiful setting, excellent service, and outstanding food.    We got married at the Hovels in August 2025. Just wow. As soon as we first saw this venue and met the team - Josh & Eddy - we knew it was the one. The venue is absolutely beautiful - rustic but modern, countryside vibe - and the surroundings are incredible. Josh was a pleasure to work with in the run up and planning of our wedding - so friendly, down to earth and has the best suggestions and ideas to help make your day unforgettable. The wedding day itself was truly the best day of our lives, and we know a huge part of that is thanks to the team at The Hovels, including the fabulous kitchen and bar staff who served us absolutely dreamy food - that our guests couldn’t compliment enough! I would recommend The Hovels and the team there to anyone if you want a magical, perfect day to remember. We also booked and stayed in Herons Nest, the onsite Harewood Holidays accommodation, this was also a gorgeous, cosy and clean cottage that made the whole wedding weekend that extra bit special. - Mr & Mrs Elliott

   Would 10000% recommend The Hovels to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Josh was an absolute star from start to finish, he went above and beyond for us and the planning process could not have been easier. The whole team at the Hovels were lovely on the day and everything ran so smoothly. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the cottages round the corner are so handy too! The food was incredible, so many guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and there was plenty to go round too so nobody was left hungry. We also really appreciated that there were no extra hidden costs after booking and we never felt pressured to add on additional extras either! We absolutely had the best day we could've imagined and were so happy with our choice to get married at the Hovels ❤️

   We had the dream of having our wedding reception here in March. We knew this was the venue for us from first driving down the road to it! Josh is an absolute credit to The Hovels - he was incredible - from visiting me whilst getting ready in the morning (with Prosecco..!) to ensuring the whole day ran perfectly. We were completely at ease knowing the day was in safe hands. The food & drink is exceptional. The venue is beautiful - it has the kind of character you cannot fake.    We'd been to see a lot of venues before the Hovels was suggested to us and from the moment we saw it we knew that it would be the place for us. We knew we wanted a smallish wedding and the atmosphere in the Hovels was perfect. The glass really gives the room a light, airy feel even on a cloudy day. They have stretch tent outside which is perfect for lovely evenings and there are a lot of other extra things that they can do to really make the space look beautiful. They also have a bar onsite and a huge field (we covered it in lawn games). Josh and the team were fantastic to work with. They do in house catering and we haven't heard the end of it yet from our guests. The food is stunning and sourced from the Harewood Estate. On the evening they were really helpful, made sure we had everything. They really made the day so much smoother than I was expecting. Honestly, it was the perfect venue. Thank you!
