This place looks to have mixed reviews but for me it's the best of the Chinese takeaways in the area (have tried most of them!). Special fried rice, beef curry, chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken balls, pancake rolls, beef chow mein are all amongst my usual dishes and have never been disappointed. Will continue to return.

Just moved to the area and tried for the first time this evening, felt like I needed to leave a review because of how good the service and food was! Very happy with what we ordered and arrived in plenty of time. Food was delicious, highly recommend!

Ordered delivery 1.25 miles away and tood over an hour and half to get here. Chips taste like they have been microwaved to reheat them. Shredded chicken was cold also the salt and pepper chicken was cold. Only thing that was hot was the yakisoba and the curry sauces.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, spend your money somewhere that doesn’t microwave or fry pre made food!!!!!! Ordered a big happy box, beef buns and crispy seaweed, Let’s start with the beef buns, pre made, just warmed up, slapped some floppy lettuce in there with a stingy offering of beef inside, Which was chewy and lacked and sort of flavour, like the worst cuts of beef you could attain The crispy seaweed also wasn’t fresh, but did taste ok, Now the happy box. What a shambles! So usually a salt and pepper box would have fried onions peppers and chillies, Naa this just had borderline raw onions, slapped in 5 spice, Chips are frozen and dry, which I’m not sure how you dry out chips fried in palm oils! The chicken wings were black inside, they were cheap wings battered in a suspicious coat and also deep fried, they almost glowed yellow! The ribs were horrific, I wouldn’t give them to a dog, they were burnt, brittle and hard to chew, fair to say I didn’t eat anymore after struggling with the 1st, chronically dry and tiny pieces full of fat rather than actual ribs! The happy box doesn’t come with chicken balls unless you pay more, the happy box is already £19!!!! The tiny battered chicken nuggets were the driest of dry, you literally couldn’t chew them without wanting to reach for liquid just to be able to swallow the dry food! Again which is all fried! The curry sauce isn’t home made either, it was actually the only thing that came piping hot! The rest of my food was below par for temperature, delivery was pretty quick, but I suppose it would be when you’re just warming stuff up and trying to pass it off as authentic! AVOID THIS PLACE! The lady who took my order on the phone was average too, kept calling me sir!!! Then hung up, didn’t call me back so I had to call, wasn’t in the slightest interested our call dropped and asked for my postcode like I was a new customer! Seriously!!! Absolutely dismal experience, 3/10 , anybody who knows proper food knows this isn’t it! AVOID Replying to your pathetic response stating you didn’t sell beef buns, I didn’t order yesterday! This should just affirm to anybody not to buy this mediocre food! Added a picture just to prove how bad it really was!

Just had a takeaway from Chiwa Sakura in Stanley and honestly, it was terrible. The special chow mein was bone dry with a few tiny bits of chopped-up meat that tasted like it had been sitting around all day. The chips were no better—old, likely refried, and completely lacking in flavour. The whole meal felt like an afterthought. Really disappointing, especially when you’re trying to treat yourself. Won’t be ordering again.

I went to collect some food last night and when I arrived they was shouting and screaming in the back of the takeaway which I thought was unprofessional, I ended up trying there salt and pepper tofu as they said it was vegan which after tasting It I didn’t think it tasted right. I found out today that they cook everything In the same oil which I nearly threw up after been a vegan for almost 10 years so I can’t imagine what else they lie about. Stay well away if you can.
