Called up to ask about catering for an intolerance, phone operator was rude when i asked if they cater for it and hung up on me.
Pretty wet and not very tasty food. BBQ sauce was just bbq lumps, think someone ate the meat off the ribs during delivery. Driver called to say outside, but then decided to say they were in their car when I called back saying they weren’t at the door instead of getting out to actually deliver. Prawn crackers thankfully were free as would’ve been annoying paying for them when so stale
Absolutely atrocious! We ordered on the phone but after (for delivery) we dident have cash on us, we where short. I rang to cancel but then the lady just complained and hung up. How appuling!
Must admit we haven't used this Chinese for years, due to being too sweet and the rice being stogy. I couldn't be arsed to drive miles, n't Ar Lass informed me that there had been a change of ownership. Yep, pleased ta say can recommend. I had a beef dish with fried rice, well cooked & enough, empty plate. Madam had Mushroom Chow Mein and enjoyed it. So, yes we will be returning
If only there was a zero star option. Ordered duck, came cold and no meat just all fat. Called them up, the woman was argumentative and really rude
spend £20 on food I had been at work all day so couldn't be bothered to cook food can complete wrong order and instead on replacing the full or they send out a portion of chicken balls then refused to give me a refund
Poor. Ordered vegetarian vimincelli noodles - came with meat & fish in. Prawn black bean sauce - no prawns, just a tub of black bean sauce. Sweet n sour chicken balls - chicken had fat surrounding it. 1/2 a duck - pancakes fell apart, sauce was thick and duck was dry. Used to like Goldfish bowl but not had recently, won’t be ordering from here again.
*Order took 1.5hours, live a mile away. *Vegetarian rolls were pure beansproat with a bit of chicken in! *forgot my egg rice and hung up on me, rang back and was arguing with me saying I didnt order rice with the curry! *hot n sour soup not hot/spicy! *in a rush, rude on phone. Is this a 1man band
UPDATED. Should be named THE TOILET BOWL!!! 2 FOOD POISONING CASES IN 3 DAYS! 1 case of severe vomiting, thankfully it was not a child. Not only is the personal hygiene clearly an issue the Food hygiene is actually worse! three times I tried this place and had food delivered, the first time was quite good but not great the next two times the food went into the bin. when prawns are white they are clearly well and truly out of date or not stored properly. I went into the shop as soon as they opened to complain after the last delivery, the woman was wearing a thick dirty coat. When I asked why she mentioned it was cold because the back door was open to keep the food going off! Obviously a refrigerator issue. I didn't complain, i just walked out not wanting to touch anything. The windows were fithy and smashed. The floor hasnt been cleaned and the ceiling was yellow. The woman was friendly though. You seriously need to vist this shop before making any order. Good luck with this one. You have been warned.
