A favourite in Teddington. The food is incredible and service is great. Just about everything is delicious but the standout dishes are the miso aubergine, beef Tataki and the Butterfish nigiri.
We came here for Ramen and after an hour’s wait, we literally received a big bowl of brown water. WORST RAMEN we’ve had in our lives. Shocking quality, just miso paste diluted into water, packet noodles. The mushrooms had 0 flavour, the egg was cold from the fridge. We had some of the soup, as we were hungry and don’t like waste. The young waitress, bless her, did apologise, but we still paid £41 for this shocking experience.
My wife and I shared the tempura prawns, seafood gyoza, scallops (pictured) and black cod, all delicious. The weather was nice so we dined outside in that small area however the inside also looked appealing. Good service. Highly recommend.
Got takeaway from here. Sushi was good and to be expected. We were just not provided enough soy sauce to really enjoy the meal. Takoyaki and veggie tempura were good. Beef bibim did not have enough beef. Bill Was around £60 which is okay.
This is a popular restaurant and usually fully booked. It was our first visit to an Izakaya and wasn't sure what to expect, the staff were accomodating and patient. We decided to get a few small plates to start and order more if needed. I'm glad that we chose that tactic as the servings are rather generous; no further plates were required. The food is delicious and well presented. I'm definitely marking another booking, soon!
Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is good.Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. The menu options is a good value. The place was clean and smelled good. The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious.
Consistently great quality and very tasty Japanese food. We tend to use their takeaway service, but they also deliver locally, and the restaurant itself is very lovely. We're never disappointed when we eat here
Travelled an hour to this amazing place for proper sushi! Great food, great selection of sushi and traditional Japanese meal, and they use such high quality fish! Highly recommended dishes, the beef sushi roll, and mixed selection. We will be back.
We ordered pick up / take away. The staff are very friendly and warm welcoming. Chef’s special sashimi is fresh and good quality. Also we had miso Aborigine as start. We really enjoyed dinner. Great food. And all of this paid around £42
I've eaten here 3 times in the last few months, every time at 12pm when they open and have tried something different every time. The menu is vast and has pictures so anyone who's not familiar with japanese food knows what they're getting and let me tell you, you're getting value for money and LOTS of flavour in each dish! They have a lunch menu which is almost a concised version of the main menu and includes free Miso Soup. Staff are all friendly and helpful, checking if we're okay/need anything. Its a tightly run ship for sure and all reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
