“Yummy n Delicious food. Every dish is made to perfection! Excellent vegetarian options and friendly chef and staff! Value for money too. Can't wait to visit again”
“An incredible little Lebanese cafe in Teddington. Went for lunch one day and we were so impressed we returned again the next day for exactly the same dish. The cafe is clean with a warm vibe and the staff are just great. The food is tasty and very fresh. With salads like these I could eat them every day.”
“Amazing food! Traditional and delicious. Great customer service as well! Mehmet was so sweet as well.”
“What an absolute delight! The staff were superb - attentive, super kind and accommodating; and the food was excellent - we were literally scraping the dishes with the extra bread that we were given. Delicious!”
“Had a great stay at Teddington Lodge! I was there for a week and this was the perfect accommodation. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was great to use and equipped with all the supplies necessary to make small meals. The inclusion of a free laundry room on each floor was helpful. The lodge is within walking distance to a number of grocery stores, shopping stores, and restaurants. Hampton Court Palace is also in walking distance through Bushy Park. And if you are trying to go into London, the Teddington train station is nearby with service into the city centre. A great stay, thank you!”
“We recently had a lovely dinner at Shambles! The food was delicious—fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour. The service was warm and attentive, and the cozy garden setting added a special charm. A hidden gem in Teddington, perfect for a relaxed and memorable evening. Highly recommend!”
“We went for Sunday roast and everything was fantastic! I had the nut roast and as a veggie that’s a tough roast to make, it was delicious. The others had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. Sticky toffee pudding was wonderful. Proportions were ideal, not too much crowding the plate and being wasteful but more than enough for a heart Sunday lunch. Highly recommend a visit, I’ll be back again.”
“The Wharf - A triumph! We held a fantastic party for 70 people at The Wharf recently. It was a great experience on so many levels. This is a perfect venue. Light, spacious, well appointed and a truly great location right on The Thames. The owner, Barbara, and all the staff did a great job to ensure it was a huge culinary success - from agreeing to a bespoke selection of canapés and dishes to the preparation and service of absolutely delicious food (we have since had amazing feedback from our attendees!). The team helped us to plan the whole event including live music and a DJ, inviting us for both food and wine tastings and suggesting a perfect venue layout for the occasion. Nothing was too much trouble. KP, the planner, was extremely professional and his attention to detail about food allergies was really impressive. He even provided bespoke meals when required. It was a real team effort which made it so much easier and less stressful. We could relax and enjoy ourselves and, more importantly, so could all of our guests. It was a wonderful evening that will live long in the memory.”
“My boys love coming here for lunch. They said this is because the food is delicious and the staff are really nice and friendly. The chips are the best in Teddington. I find the food fantastic quality, fresh, brilliantly cooked, prepared and served. The bill is reasonable too. If you have not tried this restaurant/take away you should - you are really missing out. ***Been many more times… my kids love having lunch here. Food is fresh, good quality and delicious***”
“The food was tasty and well presented The staff are polite and attentive. Looking forward to my next visit.”
“We had our Christmas party in the private room a few weeks back and the staff were brilliant. A variety of food was ordered and everyone mentioned how good it was with generous portions on the Platinum Menu. A nice range of beers too! Well done Jose and team!”
“My first time on this side of the river trying a cafe. After an appointment was looking around for a cosy place and found this cafe. Lovely atmosphere, polite staff with a smile and amazing food. I ordered a small mezze platter and latte. The mezze was delicious and absolutely felt bigger than small! The serving dishes were lovely and over all presentation was attractive. Look forward to visiting again. Here are some photos!”
“excellent food every time! i just wish i knew how to claim the 'free delivery' they advertise on their shop window, even ordering off their own website isn't free delivery haha”
“The restaurant has an absolutely amazing team and the food was freshly made, tasty and in very good portions. Was very pleased with the food and with the quiet environment. Very clean and organised restaurant and definitely will be a place to return and recommend to friends and family.”
“Me and my family have been going to this place for probably over 10 years now and I’ll be honest it has had it up and downs and there are some common issues like the chips being undercooked or food being a little bit cold but most of the time it’s lovely for fish and chips I’ve only had their Chinese a few times and it is very nice. I don’t know if it’s slight bias from customer loyalty but any time you’ve had an issue we have mentioned it and the lovely woman who works there has sorted it so if you’ve been there and it wasn’t the greatest go again, and I hope your experience is better.”
“Stayed here with trepidation given the mixed reviews but can honestly say I enjoyed my stay. For a very low price you get a decent sized room (much bigger than many I’ve stayed in in central London), a hot shower and clean facilities, comfortable beds, 24/7 front desk, bar and restaurant on site, convenient location for nearby sites (Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Park, Ham House, Wimbledon), helpful and friendly staff and the option to pay a small fee for car parking, a good breakfast or early check-in/late check-out. We even had a nice view overlooking the church next door. Yes, the room was warm but NOT unbearably so. Criticisms about lack of aircon aren’t exactly fair. It isn’t common to find aircon in London hotel rooms and you get what YOU pay for!”
“Amaizing food specially Tandoori hot and Paneer masala specially well professional and friendly staff they always make me happy with their behaviour and service as well very thanks to all of them and well cooked food on time and hot that’s the quality I recommend to Teddington domino,s”
“Definitely my favourite place for brunch or breakfast in Teddington, or just a simple cappuccino and pastry! In particular, the French Toast and all the trimmings is stunning… Fabulous food. Happy, fun and friendly staff and owner. Totally recommended! Cheers :)”
“A Little Italian gem! What a charming discovery! This restaurant is truly a little gem tucked away in Teddington, offering the most authentic Italian food I've tasted in ages. Everything was full of incredible flavor, and the staff were nothing short of amazing. I've been on the hunt for a new, smaller, local Italian spot I can truly love, and the search is finally over! A huge thanks to Maurizio and his fabulous team - I’ll certainly be back very soon!”
“A fantastic little pub with a great selection of beers and ales. Lots of quirky memorabilia and historic adverts all around the pub, a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Beer was reasonably priced for a suburb of London. A proper, unpretentious pub!”
“I had two cakes for a birthday party - coffee cake and a Victoria sandwich. Both cakes were amazing - so delicious !! Great service and affordable ! and I will definitely be ordering again !”
“Lovely experience last night, great atmosphere, wine and a nice charcuterie board. Would recommend!”
“Has been a long time since I was here and had a really good time once again. Starting with Aniko's lovely Negroni, to the tasty tapas and Nicole's customer service, a big thanks to them for looking after me! Thank you!”
“We were staying in Teddington for 2 days and visited here for breakfast on the first day (as recommended by my sister who lives locally). The service was friendly (same for first time customers and those who clearly come in regularly/everyday - which is a great), the food was delicious, so much so that we went back on the second morning. We had thought of trying somewhere different but as they say, if it ain’t broke!! Go here if you’re in the area for great food at reasonable prices and a truly friendly welcome. We will be back when next in the area for sure!!”
“Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere. Service was exceptional -particularly Julie who looked after us so well. Our evening was a delight and the best pasta we have had for a long time. Even our picky two year old cleared her plate! Will definitely make this a regular visit.”
“The pizza here was really good. The sourdough had a slightly sweet flavour to it which elevated the pizza. The service was also quite good with the pizza arriving on our table about 5mins later. The oven they use made for ai”
“I recently went to a Michelin Japanese and I can say I’d rather not go there and just spent the money with Obon instead. Yes the menu isn’t extensive but everything is done perfectly and the quality of food is amazing too. I loved the yakitori skewers, they were so juicy and tender (I wasn’t particularly thrilled by the quail eggs tho). The sushi and sashimi were fresh, both grilled eel and sea bass were also cooked just right and melting in the mouth. And the starters such as takoyaki, tempura, even the salad and pickles were delicious too. I have already been there twice in 2 weeks and I would recommend anyone in and around the area to visit (be sure to book as the restaurant is not big). An improvement would be the desserts, there’s not a lot of choices and the dorayaki seemed shop bought and microwaved so it was half warm and half cold (but I still went back so don’t let that put you off too)”
“I was so lucky to be able to share in Tom and Laura's wedding celebrations on 20 September, not just because I love Tom & Laura, but because I also got to participate in The King's Head culinary experience ! And what a treat it was.... the inspiring variety of food, all cooked to perfection, all beautifully presented, all immaculately timed and served hot (which is always a challenge with a large event) and all devoured with relish and many compliments. The staff were super friendly, helpful and polite - around, without being intrusive...the outside space was lovely and later in the evening the back room changed from being an entrancing restaurant into a nightclub!!!!! What more do you need? A perfect day!! Well done....”
“This is a popular restaurant and usually fully booked. It was our first visit to an Izakaya and wasn't sure what to expect, the staff were accomodating and patient. We decided to get a few small plates to start and order more if needed. I'm glad that we chose that tactic as the servings are rather generous; no further plates were required. The food is delicious and well presented. I'm definitely marking another booking, soon!”
“We were staying at a local hotel for a wedding and stumbled across this cafe whilst looking for somewhere to have breakfast. The atmosphere when you enter is lovely, as are the views of trays and counters of freshly made desserts, cake and pastries. The smell was amazing! Whilst small, there is quite a bit of seating for couples pr small groups aswell as outside for those wanting more space or with pups. The service was great- staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We barely waited for our food and the toasted clubs sandwiches we received were the best we'd ever had. Huge, freshly made, packed with filling and beautifully presented. We then selected some pastries to take away with us - huge selection and hard to choose! The staff helped us, although items were clearly labelled which was great, and were happy to box bits up. It is slightly on the pricey side, as expected for the portion sizes, but it felt like reasonable value for fresh and homemade pieces of such size and I did not leave feeling ripped off. It was a very pleasant experience and I would visit again if in the area.”
