The Wharf - A triumph! We held a fantastic party for 70 people at The Wharf recently. It was a great experience on so many levels. This is a perfect venue. Light, spacious, well appointed and a truly great location right on The Thames. The owner, Barbara, and all the staff did a great job to ensure it was a huge culinary success - from agreeing to a bespoke selection of canapΓ©s and dishes to the preparation and service of absolutely delicious food (we have since had amazing feedback from our attendees!). The team helped us to plan the whole event including live music and a DJ, inviting us for both food and wine tastings and suggesting a perfect venue layout for the occasion. Nothing was too much trouble. KP, the planner, was extremely professional and his attention to detail about food allergies was really impressive. He even provided bespoke meals when required. It was a real team effort which made it so much easier and less stressful. We could relax and enjoy ourselves and, more importantly, so could all of our guests. It was a wonderful evening that will live long in the memory.

Update: Visited today and what a total disaster. Took our friend from abroad to have dinner, the evening started great and ordered lots of food and drinks. But then also a large group of people attended and naturally it got loud, so loud you could not hear each other talking. Basically turned off the food and wanted to leave half way. No joke . While the owner and family was moved to a quieter table we were left to have our ear drums perforated by the 20+ group. So was the table next to us complain it was not possible to hold a conversation. How bad and how badly organised. Could have made changes to the layout to accommodate. Didnβt finish our food and ask for bill couldn't take the noise any longer started getting sick. Went ho.e to have a quiet drink and conversation. Not a cheap dinner Β£250 and a massive disappointment what rip off. Management needs to learn to plan the evening and have vision, cannot let this happen to local regular customers. Waste and spoil the evening. What a disappointment from the below previous review. This restaurant with its amazing bar area and outdoor seating is truly a gem. We have tried their dishes on many occasions and it never disappointed. Today the Angus Sunday roast was delightful. We are returning for the lobster! A fantastic restaurant in an amazing location. Enjoy.

We celebrated our anniversary here. We loved it. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the manager was the best. The atmosphere was lovely and homey, with live music and a lovely bar. We'll definitely be back.

We had our wedding reception here on Saturday (115 guests). It was incredible . Debbie and the team communicated well and really looked after us in the planning stage. KP on the day took care of everything. The chefs managed to cook about a hundred steaks to perfection. The venue , the staff , the light , the vibe were all perfect. The space transformed into a party venue big enough for a four piece band and lots of dancing. Would thoroughly recommend for weddings, events and a lovely meal. Thanks team!

What a delightful resturant and bar. Warm, welcoming staff and impeccable service. We had a seat outside, which was idyllic in the evening sun and river views. Our food was delicious, well presented. We had starter and main, we're too full to fit in a sweet! If you're in the area would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Nice environment with friendly staffs and delicious food. Most importantly kids are happy. What can you still ask for? Well yes, itβs arguably pricey, but the experience worth it.

Our first time at this restaurant, what a beautiful place. We had a table outside next to the river. Very beautiful and romantic setting. There was even a jazz band in the background. The food was amazing, we ordered the 2/3course set lunch. As you can see from pictures the food does taste as it looks.
