   We love coming here for a Sunday roast! We always come for our anniversary and they are so welcoming, the service is quick and efficient and the food and cocktails are always perfection! Apple plum crumble is the show stopper! Oh scotch egg is a definite recommendation And the chicken or beef roast. The price is high because we splashed out but you can do it on a cheaper budget if needed :)

   Following from a friend's referral, we booked for a Sunday dinner. Right from the moment we walked in until we went home, the team were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The meals were delicious, nicely presented and timely. I really enjoyed the slow cooked pork. We will definitely be returning before we go home to Australia.

   We went for Sunday roast and everything was fantastic! I had the nut roast and as a veggie that’s a tough roast to make, it was delicious. The others had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. Sticky toffee pudding was wonderful. Proportions were ideal, not too much crowding the plate and being wasteful but more than enough for a heart Sunday lunch. Highly recommend a visit, I’ll be back again.

   The roast sharing platters are excellent - very generous portions. We had the lamb and beef, and both were delicious. The scotch eggs and breaded parsnips proved a controversial discussion over dinner, however!

   We were here for the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint . Best Yorkshire pudding we’ve ever tasted - fluffy, bouncy and crispy around the edges - perfection. Staff was lovely and accommodating, creating a cosy and lively atmosphere.

   Bold claim - best roast I've ever had. No messing around went for the ultimate share platter and every item whether meat or veg played its part. No passengers at this railway station. Pictures don't do it justice, the meat was all slightly charred and perfectly seasoned on the outside but moist and full of flavour upon devouring. All the veggie bits were delicious. The cauliflower cheese and cabbage were slightly creamier so complimeted perfectly with the savoury meat. Special mention for the scotch egg, which I don't normally eat. Crispy outside, golden yolk and lots of meat in the middle. The price is very fair for the quality and quantity. To be honest, been to plenty of restaurants lately where you're getting charged minimum a tenner for a small underwhelming plate and you're needing at least 8 before leaving unsatisfied. In comparison this was very good value and left hugely satisfied. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Friendly staff too.

   Holy cow! By far the best roast dinner platter I've ever seen. Everything was sublime. Just look at it.... yes it really was as good as it looks. The warm Scotch egg. Wow. They really nailed that one! 20/10. Ger your bum on a seat here as quickly as you can for Sunday lunch. You will not regret it. And they do a vegetarian option.
