   Me and my family have been going to this place for probably over 10 years now and I’ll be honest it has had it up and downs and there are some common issues like the chips being undercooked or food being a little bit cold but most of the time it’s lovely for fish and chips I’ve only had their Chinese a few times and it is very nice. I don’t know if it’s slight bias from customer loyalty but any time you’ve had an issue we have mentioned it and the lovely woman who works there has sorted it so if you’ve been there and it wasn’t the greatest go again, and I hope your experience is better.

   Didn't have a choice but I would of given 0 for all paid 27quid to be thrown out used this place for many years until I moved away haven't used in over 13 year and yes same owners but food bloody disgusting, sort it out. Such a shame

   Special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls.and a pancake roll. For £19 Really greasy, overcooked. Not the flavours and contents in the rice as normal other Chinese sweet.and sour sauce runny as if added water. So won't be coming back. Fox will eat the food as we couldn't. Service was atleast friendly, possibly grateful for any custom. Shame the food and its price let it down. Not sure how others say the price is OK.

   A real shame to give somewhere my first 1* reviews. New to the area... Food was by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had...all tasted of the same deep oil flavour. Pretty disgusting. Having phoned the order in, you'd have thought that perhaps they'd have mentioned "cash only"...who's seriously "cash only" these days? This meant I had to go to a local charging cash point...having walked past 3 free cash points on the way from the train station. Really bad, unfortunately!

   Disgusting. The chips were reheated and had to be binned. Chicken balls were still red inside. Beef curry full of gristle and meat not cooked also packed out with veg so less meat. Biggest waste of £24.30 to all go in the bin. Waited ages for this rubbish. Never again. Shop is filthy. Cobwebs hanging above the fryers.

   Chips are Terrible, the woman re-fry's already cooked chips, paid £1.90 for a portion the woman thinks you don't notice that she is warming them up, got them home and you could literally squeeze fat from them, and i had more scrag ends than whole chips, had to bin them in the end, never again. Freshfare Broad street has the best chips
