   Omg the soy milk and pudding is amazing!!! Definately homemade. This itself deserves a 5! Super noodle... Excellent Braised beef brisket noodle, not what we expected, it was a stir fried noodles, with braised beef brisket in a sauce on top of noodles. Noodles were good, flavour is average. Beef shin soup noodles very good. Chopped beef brisket Bun... Bun was very doughy and heavy Preserved greens with belly pork rice... Pork very soft but it lacked more preserved green, so it WAS on the bland side. Overall 4* review however highly recommend the special stir fry noodles, soy pudding and soy milk... Which I rate 5* P.s cheap eat!!

   Good inexpensive hearty food. I recommend the all day lunch special. Two dishes and rice or noodles for £7.50 add a can of coke for £1. This is a Chinese cafe serving home cooked style meals. Don't expect fancy service or doting waiters. Love Soya Express for what it is.

   An absolute culinary treat in authenticity. The fresh soya milk is a must have; simply the best I have tasted. Cannot come here and avoid this and pairs perfectly with the youtiao (Chinese fried dough sticks. The fried rice with the salt and chilli chicken and beef in black bean is an absolute steal at the price. The chicken steals the show and the black bean sauce ties it all together. Lastly, the pan fried buns have a deletable, juicy filling combined with a textural sensation in your mouth, due to the crispy bottom and slightly charred top.

   Had some great food here at Soya Express. As a veggie there was a lot of choice and it really was delicious. We ordered the tofu in black bean, spring rolls, stir fried noodles and stir fried potatoes pepper and aubergine which was my favourite. The value is very good too. Unfortunately they didn't accept card payment so this is something to keep in mind.

   Excellent value for money, simple no frills food. A good range of dishes on offer covering the popular restaurant dishes along with some "highlights from childhood" dishes. Highly recommended would be the egg and tomato noodles along with the tea stained eggs. Note that the menu isn't entirely bilingual although the staff are helpful on this. On street Parking is available just outside the restaurant itself.

   While it might not look much from the outside, this place is a bit special! They make their own tofu and fresh noodles on site daily- you'll never have fresher! The café is clean, the food is excellent value, and they have a designated vegetarian section to the menu. Vegans can be catered to (not sure if the noodles are vegan). Pictured is vegetarian ma po tofu with fresh noodles, which came to £5 total - deliciously chewy and fresh! The lady who runs the shop is friendly and helpful.

   Really incredible value! The cleanliness is sublime, food is top notch and great value. I was really surprised by the quality of the pork and prawn dumplings and the freshly made soya milk. The only downside is that I live in London but will definitely visit this place again when I’m next in Sheffield. Highly recommended!
