Didn't realise I ordered on the iro sushi Purley instead of Croydon. Won't order there again. Tuna poke was a disaster! Tuna hard very bad quality and Spicy mayonnaise far too spicy! A waste of a meal I usually enjoy at the other restaurant. Rest of the order for my friend was fine.
This place really surprised me! It's a small, cozy sushi place. We ate in and the food is super fresh and really good. The rice is sticky and nice, the salmon fresh and tasty. Gyozas and spring rolls crunchy and tasty as well. The food did took a bit to be served but not too long. Staff was nice. I will definitely come back. 100 % recommend it!
Nice place and friendly staff. Ordered chicken noodles and spicy chicken noodles soup. Pros are it's extremely fresh and the portion side is massive. Chicken was delicious and the veg is as fresh as can be. I did find my soup to have no spice at all if I'm honest but it was nice and fresh but not packed full of flavour for me personally. It gets a 5 star due to quality of food and freshness and great service.
Been here before to pick up just avocado maki; this time I was in a rush so explained this to the shop owner who was professional and polite, said he could make me up a sushi box in the 10 mins I had if I chose quickly. After changing my choice a couple of times he was patient enough to go with it and I settled on the Omega Box (8 Salmon & Avocado Rolls, 6 Salmon Maki, 6 Avocado Maki) which came with soya sauce, wasabi paste (firmer and drier than usual sushi box wasabi, possibly better quality?) - with a 10% takeaway discount it came to £11.69. Sushi rice was room-temperature (as best enjoyed), well-seasoned and good texture, fresh-tasting fish and avocado, with a good amount of filling in the salmon & avocado rolls; really enjoyed and plan to return!
Wow what a lovely surprise! Loved it good value for money defo going back Now gone back and had spicy chicken ramen. Have to say it As bland to me but I liked that they put the stock in a separate cup.
This is my new favourite sushi restaurant. Everything is always so tasty and high quality. The staff are really nice and I also love their bubble tea :)
I lunch here every week and also order Sushi sometimes at the weekends. Food quality is top notch, both the currys (see pic of katsu curry with sauce at the side) and the sushi. They are doing 20% off when you go to the shop to order until end of February. Nice friendly staff too. Great to have a quality food outlet in Purley. Get down there and support this business.
Was hesitant trying this place but WOWSERS it's fantastic! Great sushi, fresh and tasty! A real rarity on the high street! Welcome to the neighbourhood, long has it been since we've been waiting for something this good!
I’ve always loved Suishi and was really happy to hear IRO had opened in Purley. I had high hopes and haven’t been disappointed. The service has been amazing every single time I’ve ordered. A really personal service! Definitely recommend
