The staff were helpful, and the restaurant is beautiful, clean, and very Christmassy. They were understanding when part of our group arrived late due to football traffic; however, the restaurant was very cold. I ordered a gluten-free meal, which arrived well before my friendsβ. The starter was acceptable, but the chicken in my main course was extremely dry and difficult to eat. There were very limited gluten-free options, with soy sauce being the only gluten-free sauce available, and the meal was bland. Some of my friendsβ meals were also cold. As the designated driver, I asked for decaf tea or coffee and alternative milk options, but none were available, which was disappointing for such a prestigious restaurant. The manager was lovely and removed my main course from the bill. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone requiring gluten-free options.

We were looking for the best experience in terms of food volume and quality, so we chose the Emperor Tasting Menu, and it was absolutely worth it. The Food: The portion sizes are huge. It started with Miso soup, BBQ ribs, spring rolls, and a fresh sushi platter. Because we chose the Emperor menu, we didn't have to pick just one meat we got the Beef Fillet, Sea Bass, Chicken, AND King Prawns. Everything was cooked fresh right in front of us. Definitely leave room for dessert (the cheesecakes were excellent). The Experience: As you can see from the videos, the atmosphere is brilliant. The chefs are true performers, great knife skills, funny tricks, and they really get the whole table laughing. It makes the meal so much more memorable than just sitting at a standard table. The Verdict: If you want a full experience where you get a massive amount of high-quality food plus entertainment for your budget, this is the menu to book. Highly recommended!

Amazing place. Had the mixed sushi platter as starter, was fantastic I had the lamb loin, was really really good, the flavour was fantastic the mint was mmmmm My partner had the chicken with chillie & garlic, that tasted delicious The side orders , egg fried rice, sauteed potato, stir fry veg, was bloody good too. The chef was incredible, dinner and a show. I've been many times , and they never disappoint. If you've never been, GO!!!!! It's not the cheapest tho, so bring your wallet. But the food is fantastic, and kids will love it too.

Absolutely amazing experience, the Chef was hilarious and very entertaining while preparing the food in front of everyone. I ordered the βshogunβ tasting menu for Β£39, which included a starter and a dessert - fantastic deal & I highly recommend. We paid Β£10 deposit per person to do the βweekend teppanyaki experienceβ which then came off the bill at the end. Overall fantastic experience and we would definitely go again !!

Went sapporo on a Saturday night we sat at a table with 3 other couples whilst the chef entertained and cooked our food which was lovely and very generous portions. There was a little mix up with the bill as another couples drinks were added onto our bill but this was quickly rectified. The staff sang happy birthday which was a lovely touch.

I came here about a month ago with a friend, food was great and the show was good. The chef's with the big hats did the show, they chucked the potato chips into our mouths, they set fire to some brandy on the grill and that was great. However, I want to give a shoutout to the chef who came out and cooked the lobster/beef/chicken breast that we had with our emperor taster menu. The quiet chef who came and cooked everything to our liking was fantastic, you could tell he was dedicated to his craft, the patience and skill he had really made the night, I hope he has a great career in chefing because you could tell he was putting the work in. Will definitely have a second visit.

Great for the expierence/atmosphere! Food was cooked beautifully but unfortunately all the food taste the same not much flavor apart from the layers of seasoned salt & pepper and soy sauce! I tried from the taster menu, so had a mix of lobster, steak, chicken fish etc also had to ask several times & different people for the drinks orders as a little slow or hadn't been ordered by previous person! Apart from this was a nice night!
