Lovely place to eat. The staff there are really friendly. Struck up conversation with me and my mum. Offered me a free pudding for my birthday so again thank you. Will definitely be back just for the staff if anything. Food was great. Massive portions. Helen and Gill thank you for great service and for being so friendly. Really makes a difference.
My friend and I stopped for lunch at Harry Ramsdens at Cheshire Oaks on Friday 12th December. We were greeted immediately by the lovely Gill, she was our waitress. What a lovely lady she was, very friendly and a cracking sense of humour too. Nothing was too much trouble and she made our experience very enjoyable and for that reason alone I would definitely return and recommend. The food was lovely too. Gill really is a great asset to the team her customer service skills were brilliant.
Gill and Will at Cheshire Oaks were fantastic — really friendly and gave great service. It was lovely chatting with them. My colleague and I work for Iceland and were visiting to check if the bonus club discount was working. Although the team initially weren’t aware of the Iceland Bonus Club discount, Will quickly stepped in, entered the code, and got everything working perfectly. It’s just a shame that staff hadn’t been informed about the discount in advance as it ends 5th November and Harry Ramsden’s customers could get 10% off at Iceland.
Came in for lunch and was served by Gill & Helen, they took into account of my hearing and took the time speak clearly so I can understand them, food is good I ordered fish and chips with mushy peas, i asked for extra tartare sauce which no trouble for them. I would come back again.

Fabulous served, maître d by Gill who was friendly and approachable for the moment we arrived. Provided excellent service and explained menu thoroughly, including portion sizes and order of service. Made sure the food was excellent standards prior to service. Gill went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible. The fish and chips were fantastic, and I have to say it was one of the best I have ever had here. Gill's attention to detail and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if Gill is your server. Five stars all the way!
after tucking into the nicely presented fish and chips as we were hungry. Halfway through the meal the chips were found to be not as crisp as one would expect. Didn’t want to complain as we had scoffed half of the. Staff very friendly and were made welcome when we arrived
First time ate at this restaurant after listening to the reviews. Amazing food quite the portion, can easily serve 2 people. Cooked beautifully with flavor and the right ingredients. A must try if you visit Cheshire Oaks. Service can be little more prompt as we experienced delays with our order due to understaffing.
