“Recently popped into caprinos while I was visiting ellesmere port. Unbelievable pizza! Very close to a dominoes pizza (which is a compliment) but better! Because you get to have unbelievable milkshakes! Would highly recommend and hope they open up a place in wallasey”

“They never make a mistake with an order. The Nice Kebab & Pizza House in Ellesmere Port would regularly leave off an item that I ordered. So I switched to this place. It’s always right and they’ve never been late. 5 stars for taste, and it gets a 5 star food hygiene rating too.”

“We visited for the first time this morning and were so impressed. Our booking request was acknowledged (needing room for a pram), service was friendly and professional, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu next time, however we can recommend the full English, Welsh rarebit and Nutella pancakes, we really can’t fault anything; 10/10!”

“My friend and I stopped for lunch at Harry Ramsdens at Cheshire Oaks on Friday 12th December. We were greeted immediately by the lovely Gill, she was our waitress. What a lovely lady she was, very friendly and a cracking sense of humour too. Nothing was too much trouble and she made our experience very enjoyable and for that reason alone I would definitely return and recommend. The food was lovely too. Gill really is a great asset to the team her customer service skills were brilliant.”

“We were starving and chose Comptoir as we knew it won't disappoint! I was in the mood for a stew, and their chicken and green olive tagines was amazing! This was Layton suggestion, and i am very happy i went for it. Tasty, full of fragrance, interesting and filling. My wife had the chicken taouk, which she couldn't finish, as the portions here are quite generous. Food came very quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy, and also the drinks. Over all was a very good experience specially because our waiter went above and beyond to welcome us, he's very friendly and chatty, he explained the menu and he cared for allergies and any questions we had. Oh, i almost forgot to praise their lemonades... very very good and refreshing! We'll definitely come back, thanks Leyton and the kitchen”

“Had a great experience at TGI Fridays today! I ordered the beef tortillas, pasta and fries everything was delicious. Our server Sophie was amazing, so friendly and attentive. It was my birthday and the team made it really special with a free cake, a cute balloon hat and a fun birthday song! Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend!”

“Good French food. I had the duck with cherry sauce and the café Gourmand. Very nice, service isn't fast but they cook food to order. Staff are helpful and the toilets are clean with nice toiletries. Great for foodies, maybe not the best place if you need to refuel fast and get back to the bargains. Good tip to check on their website before you go, I got a voucher with 30 percent off. And check when you order, it may not cover everything. Beautiful food.”

“A good place to stop halfway around the shops… This Pret is a nice spacious cafe with super comfortable seats and a good choice of food and drinks. We came in here initially hoping to get a nice refreshing iced tea but unfortunately couldn’t see any on the menu (so assumed that iced tea isn’t an option in Pret, as we’ve never been to one before) there were bottles of green tea in the fridge but it wasn’t quite what we were looking for. The cake selection was brilliant and all of them looked great, my partner chose a chocolate croissant - she said it was delicious and one of the best ones she’s ever had, it was nice and light pastry with plenty of chocolate filling/flavour. We had a bottle of peach tea from the fridge which was ok but nothing amazing. The leather seats in here are very comfortable and you’ll just sink into them, I honestly could have sat there for hours. The staff were very friendly, at least the gentleman who served us was - he was very chatty and had a smile on his face which just made the whole transaction a better experience.”

“I've been going to Leon for a few years now and at various locations. I came to the Ellesmere Port branch, following a busy day of shopping catching the New year deals. The staff were polite and welcoming. Although that day they were short staffed and running out of key menu items, they still kept me informed of where my order was. I opted this time for the vegan burger and Jack wings. The burger was delicious, in thanks to the soft, sweet bun and the shading burger sauce. The Jack (fruit) wings were crispy and creamy at the same time, and when dipped in the garlic aioli, was a heavenly combination.”
