   Decent local takeaway with generous portions and a good mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Malaysian dishes. The food is usually tasty and delivery is fairly quick, but quality can be hit and miss, and sometimes orders take longer than expected.

   Went here as the reviews were high, but the food unfortunately wasn't good, the quantities were adequate, the salt and pepper chips were tasteless, i had to re cook with additional seasoning, the vegetable chow mein was the same i had to had more soya sauce to impart flavour. It's not my cup of tea, unfortunately.

   I thought I would visit this place as it had decent reviews, but honestly I’m not sure why people have reviewed it so highly. I phoned to place an order and was told that I could pay on collection with cash or I could pay with card through a link that was sent to my mobile phone number. No problem. Anyway, two of the people I was ordering for has allergies, so I asked what vegetables were in the Mixed Vegetable Chow Mein and the woman on the phone starts laughing which I thought was a bit rude. Regardless, I placed the order and it was made quite quickly. For context, I ordered Mixed Vegetables Chow Mein, a plain order of noodles (with just Soy Sauce), salt and pepper chips, and 6 chicken nuggets which came to £18.90. Once I was home, I noticed no free prawn crackers like most Chinese places. Not a major issue though. The Mixed Vegetables Chow Mein was good, it just needed more flavour. The salt and pepper chips were one of the worst I have had - dry, bland, somewhat cold, lack of seasoning and vegetables (peppers, onions, carrots). I’ve put a photo below. I took them out of the box, added extra seasoning, put them in a pan to heat them up for a few minutes, and then they tasted good. The chicken nuggets were nice. The plain noodles were somehow overcooked and slightly hard and crispy, rather than soft. They needed more Soy Sauce to taste good. Overall, customer service was okay and food was made somewhat quickly, but the food itself was really not great. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

   Another great take out and excellent value for money. The portion sizes are really good and the food always tastes amazing. The special fried rice box is huge so great to share and covers everything - highly recommend.

   We've been to Simons kitchen a couple of years ago, I don't remember it being so good. We had two different chow meins, a red Thai and my son had the popcorn chicken. Everything was lovely, even the chips. Delivered promptly and the portions were plentiful. Will definitely use again and recommend.

   Went to pick up my order on Tuesday food was lovely as always but please be aware of the doorway when leaving as it is uneven . The door was open so i don’t notice the sign and the warning tape around the area is warn a little so you don’t really notice it . I lost my balance on the way out and fell really awkwardly resulting with me twisting the right hand side of my back and bruised knees They were very kind making sure I was ok pointing out the notice on the door but the door was open so you wouldn’t notice it was there also did not put it in the accident book They must know it is dangerous walkway to acted very promptly in saying about the sign In result of this I’m now under a osteopath to get my back right I don’t even know if I’m going to be able to go back to work as I’m on holiday at the moment Please Simon kitchens can you sort this out as someone could fall and do some serious damage Thank you
