Ordered a takeaway on Deliveroo in mid-December 2025 containing one portion of salt and pepper spare ribs and one portion of chicken fried rice. The spare ribs were fantastic (picture attached), and 10 were included in the portion, which is quite generous. Additionally, £9 is fairly standard for a portion of salt and pepper spare ribs on Deliveroo. So I can't complain as it was a large, tasty portion for a reasonable price. Chicken fried rice, on the other hand, was a little overpriced at £13.95 on Deliveroo, which is substantially more than many other similar takeaways nearby. Additionally, the portion size was on the lower end for a chicken fried rice, making this even more unjustifiable. The fried rice was nice but very oily and full of onions, which is not necessarily bad, but the large quantity of onions was quite overpowering, so be aware of this. The packing was phenomenal so if you order this as a takeaway don't worry it is well packed (image attached). Overall, i'd rate Yum Cha on Lark Lane a 3.5/5. It's a decent takeaway, but the value for money on the chicken fried rice just isn't there. Although the packing was great and I loved the spare ribs and as such I will likely try more of the food options in the future.

I visited today with my brother and it was beautiful. I have never been before and I was not disappointed. I was overwhelmed by our lovely server Ice (I think I’ve spelt that right?! Sorry if not!) she was soo lovely, gave a perfect recommendation of the ribs - I can confirm she was 100% right! We also ment the very welcoming manager Josh, and bonded over the same name as my brother I was with! 10/10 would definitely recommend the char Sui and the salt and pepper ribs. We will be back!

First time here and we absolutely loved it. Portion sizes were great, we ordered far too much food and have learnt for next time. We had duck spring rolls, bbq ribs, char sui bao, and the sesame prawn balls. The spring rolls and the bao were among the best we've eaten, not the most amount of meat on the ribs (which I know is difficult sometimes) and prawn balls were something we tried and just weren't for us. For mains we had a chicken chow mein, salt and pepper chicken wofh steamed rice and a mixed meat vermicelli. All the mains were huge (well worth the price) and we ended up taking loads home. Food comes out at different times which they tell you at the time of ordering, no issue for us at all.

What a fabulous restaurant, with friendly, helpful service and fresh, tasty food. The whole experience was enjoyable here and there is a lovely, lively vibe throughout the restaurant. We ordered 2 small plates and a large plate per couple and there was plenty of food. Every dish was delicious and the ingredients were great quality and fresh. Our server Liv was super helpful and helped us navigate the menu towards dishes we’d prefer. Great beer, food and service.

Quality and quantity of food is barely acceptable. The cheung fun is tasteless, the roast pork is not crispy, the traffic light dumplings are lack of succulent character, the small dish of fried beef noodle has too much msg seasoning and the beef is not fresh ... However, the dinning area is spacious, the decorations are stylish and the service is good.

Awesome small plates and Dim Sum. Traffic Light dim sums were unique and full of flavour. The teriyaki dishes I tried were divine, the right sweetness and piping hot. Would like to go back and try the larger plates, if they are half as nice as the small ones it should be amazing. Recommended.

We travel a lot and love Asian food! We eat at different places at Japan, India, Nepal, Thailand and many more.. This restaurant is not so authentic, but, The Food Is Excellent!! Big plates in a good price, and all what we ordered was perfect. This restaurant is a Must!! especially for Asian food lovers.

Nice food and quite big portions. We were the first ones for lunch service and everything came very fast. We couldn’t manage to finish everything so we had to ask for doggy bags. There was no problem and all our requests were sorted out swiftly and with a smile.
