   Not worth a star seriously gone downhill will never use again fish reheated chips were black , peas watery and massive oversalted gravy was that thick it came out of tub like a jelly

   First time in there yesterday never again. The woman serving shouldn't work in a shop, or go on a people skills course, her attitude was awful. Salt n pepper chips....what can I say....awful. A few bits of green and onion chucked at the bottom of the tray and barely any taste I definitely won't be going back there for me to waste my money on awful food!

   Been going to sun loc for over 30 years would normally rate it 5* but last night the chicken fried rice was very poor by all previous standards. Chicken in dish was flavourless and very watery not up to the standards I have enjoyed in the past. Hoping this is a 1 off incident and not a change as I would hate to leave after so many years if same on next visit that’s me done. Such a shame as always look forward to eating takeouts and recommended to friends and family over the years m. Fingers crossed my next visit there back to proper chicken in dish

   This place has been going for years and I still remember when it was located on the opposite side of Acres Lane where the car sales garage is located now. The food has always been delicious from chips with the Chinese flavoured gravy to the excellent Chinese meals. Sun Lok has always set the benchmark for a chippy in Stalybridge and if they joined a delivery provider likeJusteat, I as well as many others would order from here more often.

   Had this for the first time as trying to find a nice Chinese in the area. The best part was the gravy. Had a nice taste, the rest wasn’t great the chips were over done. The special fried rice was overdone and dry. To top it off there was a hair in the food. Wouldn’t order again because of these reasons

   We haven't bought from here for a while & although the Chinese food we ordered was ok, the fish wasn't good....poor tasting batter & very greasy & disappointing. Also 'cash only' not good these days. There are definitely 2 better places in Stalybridge for fish & chips & we won't be back here anytime soon.
