“Wow what a lovely place! We came here as a group of 18, the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. They gave us the choice of ordering from the a-la-carte menu or using the party menu - we decided to use the party menu as you got poppadoms, starter, main and side for £16 per person, which made things so much easier when it came to the bill. Everyone in our party commented and how good the food was. Excellent quality and very nice flavours. We liked the fact that the kitchen is on show and you can see the chefs preparing your meal. A great evening had by all, we will definitely be back!”

“I was there the other Saturday with a friend from work we called in for a catch up good atmosphere friendly staff and the pubs layouts nice back garden is all done up all round good experience TVs all round the place and a pool table if that is your thing great boozer well recommended.”

“Went here for a after-work meal, and the staff were fabulous. We asked if we could have a veggie banquet as it wasn't listed on the menu and they were so accommodating. The food was really good, and we were made to feel very welcome. Really good veggie food and options. Will definitely be returning.”

“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“After three or four visits, Staly Barbers is now my barber shop of choice. This place is an absolute gem of a place where you can be assured of a fantastic haircut. On each occasion I’ve visited, I’ve left feeling clean, refreshed and totally happy with my cut. Bewar is an absolute perfectionist and obviously loves his work. “Another terrific trip to Gladstone. It was my wife’s birthday and she had specifically requested a family meal to enjoy the epic Sunday Roasts on offer here. Hannah was attentive throughout our visit and gave excellent service. The food was amazing with great portions and excellent quality overall. The Sticky Toffee Pudding sadly defeated me.. We look forward to another trip in the future.”

“We enjoyed another great meal at La Lupa on 9th Feb. I was a little concerned from the recent poor reviews, and while the service is slow the food was as good as ever. The bruschetta, pizzas and meatball spaghetti were amazing! Oh and the tiramisu was great! Although the service is slow I actually quite enjoyed not being rushed to order and so it made for a very relaxed evening.”

“Huge back garden. Wasn't aware the owner has their own dogs off lead on the premises (two friendly Beagles), so didn't stay too long as my own dog gets nervous around unfamiliar dogs.”
