“We enjoyed another great meal at La Lupa on 9th Feb. I was a little concerned from the recent poor reviews, and while the service is slow the food was as good as ever. The bruschetta, pizzas and meatball spaghetti were amazing! Oh and the tiramisu was great! Although the service is slow I actually quite enjoyed not being rushed to order and so it made for a very relaxed evening.”

“Huge back garden. Wasn't aware the owner has their own dogs off lead on the premises (two friendly Beagles), so didn't stay too long as my own dog gets nervous around unfamiliar dogs.”

“Just had my first visit to Chat Massalla, and I'll be giving it another visit. Called in the place across the road the week before and as always just unpleasant and not at all helpful, what a contrast the Chat Massalla was! The grey beard chap was very polite without that over ingratiating manner you can get. I had the Garlic Chicken Hayderbady, well presented, tasty, and nicely cooked. If I was to be over critical I would have liked it to have a bit more chilli heat. The boiled rice was boiled rice, and the Chapatis were very substantial. I normally order 4, but I only ordered 2, and they were enough. Well a try and the price seemed to be the going rate.”

“They have really nice staff member, bit I do want to know why im banned from there till October 12th wich is when im 18 even though I came in with my dad so he got me the drinks , overall they are really good though”

“Long time since I visited last and my how it's grown. Continues the Weatherspoons tradition of good drinks, good eating, and great value. Had an excellent lunchtime meal with friends, and a subsequent 'lads night' of a few drinks and good company, which we thoroughly enjoyed.”

“I visit this place on and off and despite the new trend being 'smashed burgers' at other takeaways, the burgers here are far more flavourful, tastier and much better value for money:-) I've recently got back into ordering kebabs from here and to me its clearly obvious that the meat they cook is top quality as its meaty and tasty and excellent value for money! The guys in the shop are always polite and provide service with a smile! In my opinion, this is the best takeaway in Stalybridge!”

“This place has been going for years and I still remember when it was located on the opposite side of Acres Lane where the car sales garage is located now. The food has always been delicious from chips with the Chinese flavoured gravy to the excellent Chinese meals. Sun Lok has always set the benchmark for a chippy in Stalybridge and if they joined a delivery provider likeJusteat, I as well as many others would order from here more often.”

“Ordered a couple of times. Burgers, pizza, sides. On those occasions I have found the food to be top quality, fresh, tasty and delicious. I have seen a couple of negative reviews but I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Delivery lad was polite and fairly chipper. Worth a try”

“We ordered the AK burger and the clucking hell burger. Both absolutely delicious, generous portions and really well presented.We had the waffle with mint aero too which was amazing. I preordered and it was ready bang on time, staff are really friendly and the shop itself is really clean and modern, they should really think about opening a restaurant! The only downfall is that as it’s so close to my house I’m probably going to put all the lockdown weight back on that I’ve just tried to shift. “Second time I’ve tried this chippy and both times have been great! Not sure where the bad reviews come from? Salt and pepper chips were nice and spicy and the mini veg spring rolls were perfect! Tried the curry sauce and battered sausage as well and they were great also! Will definitely be ordering from here again, our new favourite chinese!”

“It nice to see local communities having somewhere safe to have refreshments, and whilst we were there we saw lots of young mothers and babies. There's also young youths calling in but no trouble at all! Bring a well behaved pet with you.”
