   We have been here for takeaway many time's and it has always been brilliant!! Unfortunately it seems they have had a new chef and when we visited on Friday it was clear things have changed for the worse. It was very disappointing to say the least, three meals were OK but two were just absolutely horrendous. The steak on the moussaka had a very unpleasant smell and the lamb shank was so dry and stated it came with seasonal vegetables but when it arrived it had a couple of carrots and boiled potatoes on top of the already lumpy bland mashed potato. fortunately the lady serving was very nice as always and agreed to deduct the two meals from the bill and also provided us with some Turkish coffee on the house. Hopefully things improve and we will return in the future. If you are going to try this place I'd say stick to the grilled meats and get a take out as you get more food and it's also a lot cheaper.

   I would love to be able to rate the food or the service but, sadly, we didn’t get that far. When I phoned earlier in the day to reserve a table, I specifically enquired first as to whether the restaurant was able to accept dogs (as we are here on holiday and unable to leave them alone in the accommodation). The member of staff who answered the call stated that they do accept dogs and reserved us a table for 4 + 1 infant. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted by a member of staff who informed us that the restaurant does not accept dogs and that we could not eat at the restaurant. Despite my pointing out that whoever took my booking told me it would be fine, all the staff member could offer was ‘I’m sorry’ repeatedly with nothing further to add to try and help the situation that we had now been placed in with nowhere to eat at 6pm in the evening. This being despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty at the time on a Tuesday evening. Whilst I do not begrudge a restaurant not accepting dogs, I take exception to being told it is fine, only to be turned away at the door, ruining our evening. If you cannot rely on those taking your booking order over the phone, or indeed that the staff all actually know and agree upon the rules, how are you supposed to have any confidence in the establishment and their practices?

   Visited here as a family of five to dine in, and cannot recommend enough. The halloumi and goats cheese grill was absolutely lovely (with the proper halloumi that nowhere else seems to have!). My partner and teenage son said the mixed grill was one of the best they’d tried, and the kids meals went down a treat. Great service, very tolerant of my loud 8 year old, and a varied menu that met our varied tastes! We will definitely visit again. Thank you for a lovely meal :)

   Delicious middle eastern food. High quality kebabs, felafel as well as burgers etc. Service is quick and helpful. They serve outside of narrow lunchtime windows as well. Can’t wait to go back!
