   Takeaway food so good, your cat will try to steal it from you whilst you're eating it! Mahbub has been a fixture in Charlton for decades now, and as many other reviewers have said, the food is brilliant, the staff/service are all wonderful and super friendly, and the prices are exceptionally good value. The curries on offer are tasty (and some pack a proper kick!), really nice kebabs everything's cooked fresh and in front of you in their kitchen behind the counter, the naans are freshly baked and to die for... Even some of the herbs and veg is grown in the little garden round the corner! You can order over the phone or pop in to order in person. At some times it can be busy, but you never wait too long. It's cash only, so remember to have cash on you when collecting! (There's machines nearby at the Co Op/nearby bank). Overall, a fantastic local takeaway serving great food at reasonable prices. Give it a try! (And make sure to stay on your guard if you have any pets at home when you bring your takeaway back, in case they try to snaffle it for themselves...)

   We’ve ordered from Mahbub twice in one week, and it hasn’t missed the mark once. Hands down, this is the nicest takeaway in Chorlton—maybe even in Manchester! The curries are rich, packed with flavour, and perfectly spiced, while the kebabs are top-tier—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. If you’re thinking of ordering or visiting, just go for it—you won’t be disappointed. Easily a new favourite! Staff are incredible! They actually listen to what you order and make sure that it’s right. 1000/10

   Food was amazing. Tandoori meats cooked perfectly and tender. Curry sauce was super tasty. Only issue I had was I ordered onion chutney and mango with my poppadoms but got 2 cartons of mint sauce :( Besides that. One of the nicest Indians I’ve had in Manchester. Would recommend 100%!

   I have been using the Mahbub since they opened 25 years ago. The food has been consistently authentic and delicious… I have never had a bad experience in all of this time which is definitely some testament. Always great customer service from Amir and his team, they have a really comprehensive menu but nothing is too much trouble if you ask for something different and not only do they cater for this but they care enough to remember for next time.

   Really pleased with the whole order. Food was very tasty (4 different dishes plus starters) and really warm (incl. the chapatis). Delivery was faster than the estimate given online and the delivery man was very pleasant. I visited the shop itself and must say that it looks really clean and everyone has a smile on their faces.    I ordered from here for the first time this evening. After reading some reviews. Some of the reviews I agree with, but i think some people aren't giving this takeaway more credit. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Madras, which was spot on. The Pilau Rice was light and fluffy too, just how it should be. The Papadum's were fresh and crispy. The seekh kebab starter was nice and to standards. But I do agree about the lamb chops. A bit tough and quite oily. Not the best to be honest. Apart from that, the delivery was earlier than expected and everything else was spot on. I'd probably visit again, but leave the lamb chops out and order something else.
