“Excellent friendly welcome, the owner took our order. We had to wait for our starters which meant they were freshly prepared (the restaurant was quiet with it being during the week), some restaurants just warm up the starters but not here! We really enjoyed our starters. The main courses arrived & were excellent! Also desserts were good and we ate everything. My wife enjoyed her wine and I had an excellent ice cold pint of water!(I was driving). Top marks for everything here. They are very child friendly too. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the owner was too! We will be back!”

The portion sizes was just right, the curry sauce was beautiful, rice nice and fresh and the Nan bread just gorgeous. I don’t have curry often but from now on i’ll always go here. “Gatley Tandoori Restaurant which is next door and separate to it's Takeaway. I visited for a family birthday celebration. Parking was on the street unfortunately some people had a walik. The restaurant doesn't have a alcohol licence but a supermarket and off licence are close by, the restaurant has information about them post on a wall. A number of children were present at our function and they were catered for. The staff were very polite and accommodating even with the children. A birthday cake was presented to the guest of honour. I can't testify as to whether or not the property is adequately wheelchair accessible as I'm not wheelchair bound but I can add that they do have disability toilet facilities grab bars and handrails etc. Hot & cold water was available (I've been to properties that don't have hot water). The property was clean and and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately I can't vouch for the vegetarian or dietary options. A Good time was had by all.”

“We went here for the first time last night and I can't fault the food. Couple of mistakes from the staff, chasing up drinks and I ordered a chicken rogon josh, but recieved lamb. However this was the best possible mistake as the lamb was beautiful! We had onion bhajis, naan breads and a chilli masala too and everything was lovely We will definitely be back.”

“11 of us visited on the 20/06/25 for a birthday meal. I hadn't eaten from the Spice Tower for over 6 years when it was under previous management following a poor takeaway. WOW it has changed. I had a takeaway a few weeks ago to test it out before booking for my stepsons birthday meal out and loved it. The family attended for said birthday last night and everybody agreed that the food was delicious and the service great. I personally had the tamarind prawns to start and the chum chum mix for main and couldn't fault it. Great value for money to. I think I've found a new favourite.”

“Just had my first visit to Chat Massalla, and I'll be giving it another visit. Called in the place across the road the week before and as always just unpleasant and not at all helpful, what a contrast the Chat Massalla was! The grey beard chap was very polite without that over ingratiating manner you can get. I had the Garlic Chicken Hayderbady, well presented, tasty, and nicely cooked. If I was to be over critical I would have liked it to have a bit more chilli heat. The boiled rice was boiled rice, and the Chapatis were very substantial. I normally order 4, but I only ordered 2, and they were enough. Well a try and the price seemed to be the going rate.”
