“Been here a few times over the years but first visit since 2020. A very traditional restaurant that has had a much needed make over; including finally updating the toilets. Draught Cobra is always welcome. They currently offer half price food from 5 pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday. Jorvic really enjoyed the food. All the classic dishes. Had very fresh poppadums with a generous pickle tray. Tasty lamb tikka and chilli chicken. Two good mains with one pilau rice and one naan. This food plus 4 pints less than £50. Food much improved from last visit. Will be back. They also do a good trade in take away, the phone constantly rings.”

I've been everywhere in Manchester and ate everywhere including Rusholme. I've been here lots of times and it's one of the best, if not the best curry house in Manchester. Very tasty indeed. When we fancy Indian food, this is our go-to place. No other Indian restaurant even comes close. The food is always fresh, piping hot, perfectly balanced, and the service is always so pleasant. Even my little one, who is one very picky eater, adores the food from Saffron Balti. We order more or less the same every time; onion bhaji, peshawari naan, egg rice, and chicken tikka makhani or chicken tikka masala. Highly recommended!”
