   Sigiriya in Manchester is hands down the best Sri Lankan restaurant we’ve experienced in the UK so far! Just a 20-minute drive from Liverpool, it’s worth every minute of the journey. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is rich and authentic, truly transporting you to Sri Lanka. The food here is phenomenal—every dish is bursting with flavor and feels incredibly authentic. Chef Dahanaka’s expertise is evident in every bite. A special shoutout to Anil and Lahiru for their outstanding hospitality; they made our dining experience even more enjoyable with their friendly and professional service. If you’re looking for a must-try restaurant, Sigiriya is the place. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their amazing menu. Highly recommend!

   Sigiriya was one of the best meals we've eaten. Fantastic Sri Lankan food, great service and good value. The Kothu Roti was probably our favour dish but everything was incredible! Can't recommend it enough, we'll be back!

   Overall, it was a bit too expensive for what it was. Otherwise can't fault the taste at all, everything was delicious and not too oily. We tried a couple of the veggie options - paneer tikka, pol sambol and wambatu moju (aubergine), which were great. Four stars because the waiters were a bit too pushy, to order more drinks, rice, desserts etc and coming to the table every 3-5 minutes.

   Beautiful ambience and warm and welcoming staff who looks after you well. Food was nice especially liked the veg and paneer biryani. Prices were a bit on the higher side and portion size was small. Overall a good experience.

   What a lovely restaurant. I went with the In Laws so we had a table of 4. Service was exceptional and they couldn’t do enough for you. Drinks came quick and they were always asking if we are ok. The interior was lovely and a chilled vibe to the place. Having never had Sri Lankan food I didn’t know what to expect. It’s kinda like Indian but more spicier so be prepared. We really enjoyed it. Will go again very soon and will look to see if they do take out because I would prefer it to an Indian on a Saturday night at home. This restaurant was a very welcome surprise you won’t be disappointed.
