   Busy and popular on a Friday night compared to other venues, good atmosphere and large covered outdoor seating. Ordered burgers with our beers, which were generous, hot and swiftly made. Very good value for money! Not so many beers on tap to choose from, but excellent service from engaging staff. Worth seeking out in this courtyard off the high street.

   Saturday night with live music. Music really good, food pretty good but nacho's need improvement. Atmosphere excellent. Big white elephant in the room is the door. At least a sign saying "please close the door" should be on it. Far too many people with "not a lot behind the eyes, or I'm far to entitled" use the door and leave it wide open. It's not rocket science but the 2 months the weather is good enough for it to be left open are far and few between. Would I come back? 100% if the door issue is addressed, 50/50 if it stays the same. Its the small stuff that matters sometimes.

   We walked into House with no booking but we were accommodated easily. Emily our waitress was great with our 6 year old son. She recommended the best option for him as he can be fussy. She recommended great starters and mains for us and was very patient as we looked through the wine list. Definitely would recommend. The food was amazing. Fresh and filling. Generous portions.

   Would give this place 6/5 if I could. Lovely staff, absolutely belting sun trap. Lager was crisp and served in a lovely tankard, food was next level. I had the slow cooked beef rib roast, my wife had the chicken. Both superb. 100% would return- you'd have a harder time keeping me away. NB looks like there's live music etc here as well. Top top top.
