Beautiful, fine-dining restaurant with fabulous food, cooked by very talented chefs, and a wonderfully attentive service/front of house team. Thank you so much for making my aunt's 90th birthday such a special one and kindly allowing us to bring our own cake which was brought to the table in perfect timing and then cut for us beautifully. A family favourite of ours! 'Adult family' favourite, I may add. I wouldn't say it was a 'young family restaurant' as such. More of an adult dining experience, especially perfect for special events. To me, it feels special without being pretentious. The staff have always been incredibly kind, friendly and helpful; wanting you to enjoy your time with them. Thank you again. I know we'll be back! :)

Have wanted to come here for some time, having read all the 5* reviews. It exceeded my high expectations! Staff were lovely, and service was excellent. Food was superb. Considering the quality of what we had, I thought prices were very reasonable. We spent a lot of our visit planning a return visit.

Had an awesome meal with a mate. Between courses they'd come out with little tasters and you can have a choice of breasts both gratis as part of the experience. Cost more than plenty of restaurants, but not ridiculous either considering it was all very nice. A few reviews mention weirdness with the staff (probably gone now), we had nothing like that. My images show the haddock starter with sweet chilli and ginger, and my dessert. Sorry forgot the pic of my main course, the steak and peppercorn Just note that if you are funny about trying new things with this as a French restaurant, the menu descriptions were in English, and while there's plenty of fancy things, you can still have twists on very English choices. Cost £38 for 2 courses on the Xmas menu, then paid more for desert and drinks

So lovely to have a real dining experience, and be waited on with a smile. Fabulous food, freshly cooked, tasty and hot. Beautifully served. A lovely evening from the very tasty canapes to the dessert, and an alcohol free sparkling wine, that looks like champagne.

One of the finest restaurants in the North West. Professional, attentive service and fabulous food at a very reasonable price (2 lunch course for £27 at time of writing). Some lovely extra touches as well, including a lovely birthday surprise. A lovely place to be.

5 stars definitely deserved both for the great staff and the finest quality of their dishes. We had a great experience of personalised bespoke service in a fantastic environment. It worth every penny spent. I would recommend this restaurant definitely especially for people that appreciate details and time and effort spent to provide holistic experience.
