   I have been shopping at Aldi Aintree, then Thornton since they opened. I have always been treated with help and respect by the staff from the management down to the young men and women. I have been praising them for years. Today different 1 till on and I woman with a badge on counting pennies and putting them into plastic bags. I had no help from her and tried to use the other tills who always help me. I was slow and the till kept stopping. She came and restarted it 3 times. I told her it was cash but It wouldn’t take it as I was slow. She then said I had to go to another till and reload again. The young man tried to put it through using my receipt which came to £10 more. By now there was customers behind me. I bottle of wine had gone on receipt and 2 bananas twice. He was very helpful and she didn’t help at all. I have tried phoning but no answer. I will never go there again and will now have my messages delivered. I enjoyed going there as only time I went out. I may be old but I was taught to respect my elders and help them. I went to Aldi as everyone there did that. It took one ignorant woman to change that. ,

   Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Ready made fresh casseroles and stir fries ready to cook. Lovely big garden candles are in at the moment. Aldi own lacura skin care range is good too.

   Store was really busy - managed to do weekly shop. Staff efficient and polite. Checkouts busy - so more opened. Queues kept to minimum. Will be back next week for sure!!

   Wheelchair accessible. The shop has recently been redone. So plenty of fridges and freezers . Also plenty of room to walk around . Plenty of space for prams and wheelchairs
