There is a bit of a wait for food to be served but if you come when it’s quiet, the atmosphere isn’t bad. I did feel as though the last time I went out of the others the quality fell slightly, although I would visit again and recommend.

Lovely high end Indian cuisine. The Lamb was mouthwatering and oozing with flavours. Highly recommend the grilled meat for two, it was delicious and the masala chips was to die for. The decor and atmosphere was fantastic and the waiters did a great job. Overall a brilliant experience and eating fantastic food. In addition I asked and they surprised my mrs with a lovely little Birthday desert.

The food here is fantastic and tastes quite authentic, I loved the grilled dishes like the chicken tandoori and chicken tikka. A lot of very spicy stuff. They have tons of stuff on the menu all categorised into things like fish, chicken, lamb, vegetarian, and also have set menu options and sides, and give allergy information. portions are very large like most Indian restaurants, so just a main would be more than enough for most. The restaurant is really spacious with tons of seats, and a shisha bar outside. I don't do shisha but all my colleagues enjoyed it. They have some heaters outside for the cold, but I suspect this would be great in summer. Prices are moderate, all the starters are £5-7, mains are all under £20. Overall, great tasting quality Indian food and a good place for large groups and parties.

Went here on the 29th of October to celebrate my Dads 60th birthday, great location lovely decor friendly staff. Food was excellent couldn’t fault any of the food which we received. Service was allot slower then usual but I was told they were short staff due to a few being off sick. Only let down really was they had ran out of fudge cake which was part of the set menu for 19 people including kids, but they did knock it off the bill. Great city centre location they also do nice Shisha

Scene MCR has usually been a good experience for me in the past. Visited this week but I felt it was very average. The Pani Puri was quite nice however the Sultan Puri roll which is usually a hit was very dry and rubbery on this occasion. The Bombay lollipop drumstick chicken was quite overcooked which made it difficult to eat. Lastly, the main dish recommended to me by the waiter was special Handi Gosht which looked very good. In terms of taste and actual texture, the meat was quite crumbly and didn’t taste like fresh meat at all. Was quite disappointed with the mains if I’m being honest. On the plus side of things, the service was pretty good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Visited for the first time with family. Food was good but portions are very less. Friendly staff relaxed atmosphere. the restaurant bright and cheerful. Definitely a different restaurant in the Manchester city centre.

Beautiful place - enjoyed my first experience at Scene. Service, Quality of food and decor was 10/10. A quick prompt service also the waiters were ever so lovely and got us whatever additional things we may have required. To top it off the weather was beautiful so it was nice eating outdoor. Everything was delicious - couldn’t fault it. Thank you guys for a great service.

Location by the water and in amongst other restaurants is perfect, large outdoor areas front and back. Decor and ambience is spot on. The menu is huge and everything I ordered tasted great. For some the food could be on the spicy side as there is a lot of fresh chilli on many dishes so just ask for less or more Even the dessert was surprisingly good

Atmosphere and interior is amazing. Service is good and the wait for food isn't long. Only came here for a quick lunch with little appetite, but it was definitely worth it! Food was nice, seasoned very well and dishes are authentic. The menu is quite pricey so if you come here make it a big evening meal/late lunch. Seating by the canal outside is lovely in this weather, shisha and tea is also served at the entrance area but there is a shisha-free zone for food. Highly recommend and will be visiting again with an empty stomach!
