My usual Chinese takeaway wasn't showing up on just eat (top chef Almondbury) so ordered from De bao as I heard good things. Food arrived in good time and was hot (we only live 10 minutes away lol) £5 delivery charge is steep fory liking but collection wasn't available. Not my most enjoyed Chinese takeaway to be honest. The salt and pepper chips were okay but had no sliced chilli, the Cantonese sweet and sour pork was okay, soft noodles okay and was pleased there were no water chestnuts in there as I'm not a fan. The fried rice unfortunately is the second worst fried rice I've had and I love fried rice. Over all though the food lacked seasoning, which is crazy because Chinese/Cantonese is usually well seasoned. The food was edible but I likely wouldnt order again.

The food was actually okay apart from the ribs were cooked to the point of being dry and virtually inedible. What was not okay, was waiting 2 hours and 40 minutes, with food turning up at 9:35pm. I called after 1 hour and 45 (which was 15 minutes after the promised delivery time on Just Eat) to be told they were just starting to cook it as they had no one to deliver. I called again 35 minutes later to be told the food had left and the driver was told to come straight to us. This place was a 9 minute drive away. It still took nearly 20 minutes to arrive after that. If you want your food, save yourself the £5 delivery fee and pick it up yourself, because you can guarantee they will still take orders they can't deliver and not tell you.

Debau Chinese just gets better and better. The food is always consistently hot, fresh, flavoursome and tasty. Its just really gorgeous. The staff are lovely and friendly and the delivery drivers are really great. Cannot fault anything at all, can only praise this Chinese and say a big thankyou for your brilliant food and service.

So frustrating. Ordered soft noodles, beef with a cashew nuts and salt and pepper chicken wings. The noodles were all in bits like some second hand food. Or food thats been reused and mixed together. It has put me off my whole meal !! Not eaten a thing. Waste of £15 and i still have to make dinner now. Wont be eating here again. Also the beef and cashew tasted weird like burnt pan.

I didn't know of this place until my family ordered one evening. It was gorgeous. I thought I'd found the best, but no. So i carried on ordering from de bao. My usual order is chicken fried rice, chips and gravy not much of a Chinese I know but that's what I like. £ 8.80. I've tried a lot of dishes thow in the past 7 months. All have been nice, no complaints! Everything is mint. The gravy is second to none! It sickly but, wow. Spare ribs are long, tender and full of meat. Salt and pepper chips are great. Everything is. Seriously. Bean sprouts, rice, sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper chicken. Everything. Delicious food. Consistency is flawless. Service is polite and punctual. Delivery at peek times can be a while but... I did know of this place from driving past but it never really appealed to me. Never judge a book by its cover. They make amazing Chinese cuisine. They package it very well,And don't fluctuate in quality. The best Chinese I've tried. I usually order and pick up. The staff are very friendly. The prices are fair. The food is outstanding. Now I'm a review guide I need to start leaving negative reviews. I don't leave reviews unless there amazing. This is the last review from a positive position. From now on there all been listed.bad or good. I only want people to experience the best you see. So yeah de bao de bomb seriously good. Got to try!!!
