   Great food, service was friendly Definitely could taste how fresh the food was- I had halwa channa puri- 3 puris so a good portion size. My friends had the Desi breakfasts- again generous sizes. Well worth a visit and I definitely plan to return!

   After watching a tiktok for chai wali hyping up their desi breakfasts we finally decided to try it out. First impressions were good, a lovely little shop with nice decor. We ordered the desi breakfast and keema chips. Firstly we were told that the masala beans wouldnt be ready on time so that was disappointing as it was past 12 o clock, secondly the chai was very disappointing as it had a weird taste to it somewhat resembled the powdered karak chai taste. Keema chips were just smothered in sauces so you couldnt taste anything properly. The only thing that was nice where the freshly made paratha. Overall not impressesd I will not be going there again and do not recommend it.

   Disappointed. 3 main points - the food took 45 minutes to come out, without any apology for delay, or explanation offered. The food was definitely not worth the wait, as the taste was honestly below average. We had loaded keema fries and the masala fish and chips. The seating is definitely unsuitable for a group larger than 4. Not worth the price. Cannot recommend to anyone. Avoid

   Chai Wali is a delightful food place that truly deserves a 5-star rating! The decor is simply enchanting, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The place is spotlessly clean, and the prices are very affordable. The menu is a food lover's dream, offering a delightful mix of familiar and unique dishes. The cheese and masala bean toastie is a standout and tastes absolutely delicious. The variety of karak chais to choose from is impressive, satisfying every tea lover's craving. The cake counter is a treat for the eyes, with fresh options like the baklava box and brownie bite box that are simply irresistible. It's a pleasant surprise to find a range of English hot drinks on offer as well. The presentation of the food is top-notch, and I appreciate the use of proper plates and cutlery. I highly recommend trying their karak chai, which was exceptional, even for a picky tea drinker like myself. The only small downside is the plastic lids, as I'd prefer more environmentally friendly options. Nevertheless, I'll definitely be returning to Chai Wali for their amazing offerings.
