First time coming to Manchester and got recommended with this restaurant. I have ordered beef stroganoff and my husbandβs the pizza. The beef stroganoff is so lovely and is a big portion. The inferno pizza was also fire-ly delicious! it has a kick on it but you can still enjoy the flavours if the pizza. I would recommend this restaurant if you want to have a posh ambiance. Also it is just around the corner of the hotel β The Midland β if you are staying there. βΊοΈβΊοΈ

If I could give this place 10* I would! Me and my partner went to Gio for a meal whilst staying in Manchester and it surpassed all expectations. We were waited on by the nicest of staff, the wine was gorgeous and the food was incredible! I will be dining here every time we visit Manchester. The lobster ravioli and clams were phenomenal and the tiramisu was out of this world! I hadn't dressed up as we'd been to the game and was wandering around for the evening but we were treated just as well as the finely dressed diners.

Very cozy restaurant, right by St Peterβs Square. Definitely recommend for a nice and hassle free evening (or even lunch) out. Food was tasty, and cocktails were refreshing. The best part of the visit was the service. Peter was friendly, attentive, polite and very kind. :-) Some requested cocktail ingredients did run out so we were immediately offered alternatives and Peter made sure to check in with us regularly, especially after offering an alternative cocktail version - ensuring we were happy with the taste of the drinks. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, and the staff are amazing. Recommend going if youβre in the area and looking for something efficient yet calm. Usually not too busy during week days around lunch hour but definitely picks up in the evenings. Thank you to Peter and the kitchen staff for a great lunch experience.

beautiful interior and appetizers were absolutely delicious. i thought mains were too salty but the staff were kind enough to offer replacements when the food weren't to our taste, very cool. Worth a visit, but not for me.

The food was delicious the place was packed and we received our drinks and food promptly. The only issue we had was that the manager wanted us to vacate our table quickly and took us to the till to sort out the bill. We thought at first we had been overcharged but apparently there was a 10% service charge and a charge of Β£7.50 for each side salad. It appeared from the menu that the main meals included either fries new potatoes or salad on the two course set menu. Not the case if you had certain dishes.

Nice easy accessible restaurant with friendly staff with good customer service. We did not have a reservation but they were happy to accommodate. The restaurant offers a pre theatre special menu where you can choose from a good range of dishes currently at a price of Β£22.50 for 2. Ordering from the A la Carte menu can be expensive and have eaten better food for less. The pate starter was delicious. The garlic bread and pizza was fresh however the ribs were on the tough side.

I booked a table for two for Valentines day for my wife and I to have an evening meal we arrived and was shown to are seats straight away It was busy which is great see restaurants getting back to normal. the staff let you settle in before taking are drinks order the atmosphere was great and with the music playing 70 & 80 with some songs I've not heard in a long time. we order are drinks and are starter .The Valentine's Menu was a set Menu 2 Course was price at Β£ 24.95 & the 3 Course was Β£38.95 all the meals was spaced out allowing you to injoy your meals even though it was very busy . At the end of the evening we asked for the bill . when it comes before paying you are asked if you had a lovely evening and would you like to tip the staff along with your payment. You are under no obligation to do this . But must say on are visit the staff were great and very professional and done a great job of getting the meals out on time . Well done everyone of you and for giving my wife and I a most enjoyable evening. Would recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just for a meal

Great, freshly cooked food. One of our party fancied a dish that was on the menu, but customised. This was not an issue and the food was lovely. Staff very friendly.

I had the best garlic bread with tomatoes here that I've ever had; thin crust, beautifully garlicky and with a drizzle of pesto. The spaghetti carbonara was also delicious. Great service, too.
