   From the moment you step in, Matt and his incredible team make you feel special. Their passion for excellence is palpable, and shines through every aspect of the experience. The food? Absolutely insane. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with flavour. The culinary artistry here is nothing short of extraordinary. Warren’s Bar is a hidden gem in itself, offering a fabulous selection of cocktails. A special shoutout to the Club Tropicana, recommended by Matt—it’s hands-down the best cocktail I’ve ever had. As a coeliac, I often feel troublesome when visiting restaurants, but at Cheals, they always cater for me without any problems. Their understanding and care ensures that I can enjoy the full experience with complete confidence. Liam, the maitre’d, is simply the best. His warmth, attentiveness, and expertise elevate the entire experience. The whole team’s knowledge and personable approach make you feel like part of the Cheals family. Cheals is a rare gem where impeccable food, drinks, and service come together seamlessly. The experience is like no other. Highly recommended!

   Previously visited Cheals when based in Henley-in-Arden. This was our first time at their new location in Knowle and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is much more spacious now and the interior tastefully decorated. So, first impressions were great. Our waiter gave a warm welcome and expertly guided us through the menu and wine list. A very capable front of house team. My wife and I opted for the a la carte lunch menu and with each course our enthusiasm for the next grew. The hardest thing is deciding between all the tempting choices on offer, so if your budget stretches to it, I'd go for the tasting menu for a real treat. The highlight for us both was the dessert course. What a selection of moreish puddings skillfully prepared. Hats off to their patisserie chef. We chose Cheals for our second wedding anniversary and were delighted we did. We'll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend it to others too.

   After eating at Cheals of Henley, we were looking forward to visiting Cheals of Knowle. Their new venue can only be described as bigger and better, with the added bonus of Warren’s bar. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed by every single member of staff, and nothing is too much trouble. Everything from start to finish was faultless. We thoroughly enjoyed the 6 course taster menu, trying ingredients that you wouldn’t eat every day. My Mum really appreciated them acknowledging her birthday with some very delicious fudge. Thank you to Matt and his team for a perfect evening. We will 100% be back.

   Fine dining at its best. Lovely evening with friends. The tasting menu with wine pairing was divine. Every dish bursting with flavour and matched wines were week chosen. Service is lovely - enough attention without being over stuffy. The new venue is great, luxurious and much more spacious than the old Henley restaurant. We will definitely be back again.

   A brilliant new addition to Knowle. Don’t be fooled though, Cheal’s punches way above ‘village restaurant’ - this is better than most city centre venues. - Service was perfectly attentive and warm. - Food was excellent quality and delicious - Drinks were excellent. The maple and pecan old fashioned was a favourite. Well worth a visit!!
