Have to say I love the quality of fish, the chips are delicious - crisp and tasty. What more can I say, but I have never been disappointed when I have indulged my passion for good food here.
Must have changed hands, where is the slice of lemon and tartar sauce and lovely fish?? That used to be served, it was horrible. No fish inside soggi batter and old gravy with a tang of curry sauce, horrible
Oggi and his family provided excellent food and service for our daughter’s wedding night reception. All guests were readily forthcoming in their praise for the quality, value for money and the amount of food that was provided. Would highly recommend this establishment.
One of the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time! A slight wait as they asked if I'd mind waiting for fish to be cooked, not at all, very fresh tasty fish with the added extra of a pot of lovely Tatar sauce and a slice of lemon.
Just had the best fresh fish & chips ever !!! As Americans, we don't get many authentic fish & chips often, and we have finally found a place where we can get delicious, lightly breaded & fried !!!!!! Thank you so much for the exceptional service and amazing food!
The person who I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and cut the phone off multiple times. We ordered from Uber eats and our food hadn’t come so we called the restaurant. He proceeded to tell us in an extremely rude way the driver had called us (which he hadn’t) and the food was outside (which it wasn’t). The service is extremely terrible as he blamed us and didn’t even apologise at all. We spent over 20 pounds so we better get a refund. I wouldn’t recommend buying due to the poor service here and the terrible staff.
Paid a ridiculous £7.50 for lamb donner burger and chips. They forgot my order and after reminding them I got my food 20 minutes later, both were inedible. The bun was soaking wet and the chips greasier than a tin of WD40. Lad serving didn’t have a clue where he was or what he was doing, I’d have received better service from an Indian call centre. Will not be returning.
Quality of food not good, feels like they are rushing orders now just to get food out…ordered large sausage got given 2 small sausages which were over cooked and dry…easier to say no large sausage. Past couple of times food not like before time for a break from here to try others
Bought two boxes of sausage (1 battered) and chips with a pot of curry sauce. Staff were lovely, really helpful, the place was clean and lots of room. The boxes were a nice touch, better for the environment, and feels like I'm back at home by the sea, but the chips were greasy and the sausages were so dry the skin was difficult to cut. That said it was much cheaper than our local chip shop. It wasn't awful, but won't go back.
