   Donner meat tasteless , and full of fat Chips awful and fish shrivelled up inside a case of greasy overcooked batter ! Used to be very good but gone down hill! Better places nearby people !!

   Went in for lunch as my other local food place was close, I went for the chicken curry special, this comes with chips and a cold drink, I have to say it's was absolutely lovely...slightly spicier than I would normally eat but as it was that nice I just had to finish it, the lunch time special price for the homemade curry, chips and drink was a bargain at £4, I will be returning

   I am working in Solihull down from Stoke and used this chippy twice now. The first time I had fish and chips which were delicious and the fish was very fresh. Today I had chicken and chips and it’s simply the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. So crispy a juicy inside and seasoned well. Move over colonial from Kentucky with your daft white facial hair. Step in Marsdon Green fish bar. The staff are very friendly and polite. The only downside is, and it doesn’t have a value box option where you can add Doner meat for a value price but who cares when the chicken is this nice. Keep up the good work. When I’m done opening the business I’m helping open we will be regulars for sure.

   Overpriced for what the portion sizes are like. Quality of food better on the Sunday than in the week probably due to cook. I refuse to try the fish again as last couple of times it's been awful, disgusting, infact I have had to throw it away I wouldn't even give it to my cats! That's how bad it was, no fish it was all black no white fish, batter rock solid and so so dry. I won't be going there again. A family bag of chips you would think would feed more than 2 people yes? Well the bag I bought it didn't do 2 people it did just 1 an what was left well that wouldn't have been enough for a child let alone an adult the price well its a chippy where food isn't great at all, nothing looked great all dried up and looked so old. That place used to be a great chippy but now no way, I may have gone on a bad day who knows only good thing was the onion rings. For 2 pieces of tinned roe, 1 portion of onion rings and a family bag of chips I didn't get much change from £10!!!! I felt robbed!!!! Never again

   This has always been the best chippy in the local area. The queues round the shop all the way to the door on a Saturday night are a testament to its popularity. I like that fact that you have a choice of cod, haddock or plaice, which I don't get in most of the chippies where I now live. Portion sizes are pretty generous and the food has always been well cooked.
