   We booked a table of four for Valentines evening menu. When we had been seated the table was not cleaned and left dirty. Went to the men’s toilet completely filthy. 20 mins passed for the first drink order and one hour until the starter had arrived. We sent starter dishes back as there was no garnish, someone’s dirty finger print that had been left on one of the dishes and it was all cold. I still can’t believe this was served to us. I would not serve this to my worst enemy. Two hours had passed and still no mains. When we pushed the staff for it to finally turn up. The Steaks were over cooked, the prawns were over cooked (could not eat them) the salads were dry and warm with some off cut of old food mixed inside. The glassware was dirty too. How can Beefeater let standards drop this low. We were not prepared to pay full price and a half price reduction was given. The place is completely understaffed. The staff that are working are overwhelmed, overworked and the manager can’t cope (run off her feet) The table next to us complained and had there Salmon taken of the bill. Pull your act together Beefeater, help the staff, manager, chefs etc and bring back what was once a great restaurant. Currently it’s not worth one star. Completely shocking!!

   The breakfast spread at this BEEFEATER is extremely varied, lots of cereal, juices, pastries, bread, I chose the full English, it was hot , freshly made and cooked just right. Our host Charlotte was able and capable, it was a very session with lots of people, she was a natural host.

   First time here for Sunday roast and disappointed. £12.99 for roast sirloin of beef with unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy. Being a greedy carnivore, I can't resist ordering an extra slice of lamb at £1.99. What I got was a stringy portion of 3 very super thin slices 4x6cm (must be from a pigmy bullock) of well cooked medium sirloin of beef and even a thinner and smaller slice of overcooked lamb. Nearly 10 minutes into my meal I asked for an extra Yorkshire pudding and gravy, 10 minutes passed by before I could attract the waitress attention and eventually 5 minutes later I got them but I had already cleaned my plate!

   We were told there was a 20 min wait on food. 45mins later the plates of cold food arrived. It was very dry as as well as cold. We had not been given a receipt for our purchases so could not post feedback online. To be fair we were refunded fully because neither of our meals were edible.

   The restaurant seemed short staff as both staff and manager were occupied on arrival, but it wasn't a long wait before we were seen too. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. The meal was nice, cooked well especially the steak.

   Nice restaurant space inside, but felt the food was very average, mediocre, nothing special. Would like to give a better rating, but I think they just need to put a bit more love into their menu and output from the kitchen. On the plus side it shouldn't be too hard to improve, but at the moment you can unfortunately get better quality elsewhere for cheaper
