Unfortunately it really wasn't great. The Yuk Sung didn't taste too bad, but I'm used to it being finely chopped and this one had bits about 1cm wide. Satay chicken didn't taste like satay and the sauce looked more like lemon chicken consistency. Crispy shredded beef wasn't too bad, but bland.
Had a meal to take out . It was a chicken curry and a special chow mein. Both meals were awful, the meat was questionable. The only veg within either meal were uncooked onions and the sauces in both tasted artificial. It has “CASH ONLY” notices up on the widow, door and at the counter. Customer service was poor I had to keep shouting “hello” to get their attention. Most of it went in the bin! Dreadful
Disgusting. Do not ho. Went in for a small chips.. and it was small. Luke warm and dripping in grease.. tried to crisp them up in the oven to no avail. Wouldn’t be surprised if they were reheated from the night before. Service was miserable and rude. Please don’t waste your money! Why is this place still open!
Not to best chinese take away. Though it was open at early, it is not what is expected from a takeaway. Highly priced, quantity of prawn very less and worst egg fried rice. Bad attitude of the front desk as well.
Only used this twice and stopped when we realised how low the 'scores on the doors' rated it based on the cleanliness etc. The food was OK, the service was fine but won't use it again until the score goes up. Its currently rated 3 which is "generally satisfactory " for hygiene,structural compliance and confidence in management. The hygiene rating is what concerned us the most
Staff not very friendly. Never used the chip shop part it doesn't look busy enough. Chinese takeaway is cheap and cheerful not sure on freshness of food im guessing my dish is a frozen product
Very poor service and food. Had to wait over twenty minutes for fish & chips on Friday evening! The fish was being prepared in the back kitchen for some reason and brought through two at a time, not in the frier counter as usual! Never again.
I ordered and had stuff missing and got the wrong change. The food is ok but when I order AND PAY FOR Roe with my chips I EXPECT Roe with my chips! Avoid if possible, If you have to order for here keep the item count down (2 max) and have the exact amount. Note that it's cash only read from that as you will. As an act of good faith I'll assume this is down to goof up rather than malice.
Great takeout with reasonable prices. We ordered the set meal for 3 and were very happy. The portion sizes were generous - definitely enough for the 3 of us! The food was of good quality too and was ready to collect within the given time. We'll be back next weekend!
