Accommodated a group of 28 of us for a special birthday meal exceptionally well. Service was excellent, communication on the day brilliant. I can't fault them, everyone had a lovely meal, and they were so accommodating with everything to make it a special day. All the staff really helped make it a great day for all of us. Can't rate them highly enough!

Always liked Morton's atmosphere and staff. Food is generally good. However I went for breakfast there this morning. I ordered food detailed as 'on toast'. It arrived with a tiny piece of toast (less than half a piece). When I asked for a complete piece of toast I was told I'd have to pay as they've now halved toast on breakfast dishes! Need to be careful with the penny pinching.

No air con and told the large floor standing fans don’t work. It was 30 degrees + outside and hotter in the restaurant. The staff were flagging but the service from the young lady who served us was exceptional, I don’t know how she kept positive in that heat. The food was very good but it was an awful experience. Won’t be going again unless the temperature is below 20 degrees. Not acceptable. We saw loads of people turning and leaving. We should have done the same

Regular customers at Morton’s, today was very disappointing, service very slow, though not busy, food under par!! Had to send child pizza back, dough under cooked. Won’t be eating there for a while, expensive for underwhelming food & drinks.

Your average “village” pub. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar staff are attentive. Seating is a problem when the pub is busy. It is recommended to book over a weekend to guarantee a seat otherwise you will most likely have to stand and wait until one becomes free.

Usually an excellent breakfast, but unfortunately this time the butter for the toast was frozen solid and unusable, the eggs were barely cooked and our beans were cold. We weren't approached by a member of staff for feedback during the meal as they were very busy,so didn't really feel like approaching a staff member to highlight the issues as it didn't seem right at the time. Like I said Usually a very good experience with Mortons,so will be going back again .
