Can't complain, food was lovely, service as great. Always drove by this place, but decided to try it out for once. Pleasantly surprised, would revisit. Portions are very generous and pricing is equally good. Tried a pineapple and chicken salad for starter, was very nice, the molasses on top was a little overpowering but still enjoyable, would buy again. For mains we had the Savannah Chicken and Lamb Shank, which came came with a side option of Rice, Pasta or bread. We tried one with Pasta and one with Rice, in the pasta you have 2 options and can choose red or white sauce (really loved the customisability here!) Would I revisit? Yes

Underrated restaurant! The lamb shank is very reasonably priced and fall off the bone tender. Highly recommend it. Also recommend the Somali tea and timir date cake for dessert. Would definitely come back again for a third time.

It’s a rare occasion for me to leave a positive restaurant reviews but my recent visit to Savannah on Stoney Lane B12 left me super impressed shame they aren’t on social media for me to tag them. It’s Somali fusion cuisine, and I must say the food was delicious. The restaurant was not only clean but also air conditioned. Me and hubby ordered the salmon and lamb shoulder which we halved, both of which were lovely especially with the noodles. The aromatic rice with raisins reminded me of Afghani pilau. Even the pineapple and chicken salad was surprisingly nice, and even the kids enjoyed it. If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Guys I have no affiliations with this restaurant but believe that hidden gems like Savannah deserve recognition for their exceptional offerings.

First time coming here. This restaurant’s customer service is 10/10 they are very hospitable and make you feel at home. The food matches the service as its a 9/10 only reason why it isn’t a 10/10 is because the spice wasn’t there, charge it though. Would recommend this if it’s your first time getting somali cuisine.

Nice traditional Somali restaurant, we ordered lamb shank with rice, lamb steak with linguine, grill chicken with fries and calamari for starters. Overall the food taste was good and the meat was cooked to perfection. The staff are welcoming and polite and make sure to check on us if we need anything else. The downside loud music and frozen mix veg was used instead of fresh. I paid £45 for 1 starter, 3 mains and 4 drinks.

We were passing by and saw how amazing the decor looked through the window and had to pop in! Was instantly impressed and recieved a warm welcome, the staff were very friendly and had great recommendations! Only stayed for desserts and tea but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, a very luxurious and relaxing atomosphere. Will definitely be visiting again!

First time I came here and the decor and place itself was lovely, we ordered the recommended chicken and lamb dishes both were delicious, food took a while to come out and they brought the starters out with the mains, which was a bit annoying, also when we paid they didn't have any change so had to wait 10 mins for them to find change, but a part from these two minor things was a good experience

Amazing food and top notch service. From start to finish the experience was great. The staff were really attentive, on the ball and friendly. The food was perfect, I had the best lamb shank I have eaten in a long time which was cooked to perfection and really filling and flavourful — the mixed salad and rice was fresh and delicious as well. Drinks menu has a good variety to suit all. Also the date cake was fluffy and the perfect sweetness for my palate. Definitley down for a second visit soon!

I came here for the first time with no previous experience of African cuisine, but the food was spot on, both the chicken and the lamb, with very generous portions for a reasonable price. The service was 10/10 with food arriving within minutes of order, decor is outstanding and would recommend for couples and families. Will be coming again soon iA!
