Always usually a fantastic experience. Used to be a bit hit and miss, but the guy who is currently doing the frying is a great guy to talk to. Very friendly, the food was excellent, from burgers, to chips, scallops and fish all at great prices. However past few months the shutters have been down on the shop. Are they still open?
Absolutely ridiculous! I asked for an American burger which is two beef patty's, fried onions and two slices of cheese. Well... I got one patty, one slice of cheese and the tiniest bit of FRESH onion. The chips were so stale and horrible! So totally disappointed, I called them up and when I told him about the order being messed up the guy hung up on me!
Awful customer service. First time ordering from here was great. Second time disappointing and the third horrendous. Myself and my partner ordered two mixed kebab in naan, and my partner's was completely stale. We rung the restaurant and Iqbaul refused to delivery another meal unless we returned the other. I provided proof that the naan was stale. Awful customer service especially since we chanced ordering from your restaurant again.
I rarely eat chips but a few times a year I do like a pie and chips from a chip shop and the Cod Father do battered chips made to order. Smothered in salt and vinegar these are absolutely incredible! Staff here are always friendly and engage in nice chit chat. Well recommended
I have used this place for years however was massively let down last night. I had ordered and everything was fine then after over half an hour my order got cancelled because more local orders came through after mine. Owner couldn't even be bothered to get in touch himself. Never using again!!!
Excellent food , fresh & hot , spring roll crispy and very tasty , fish cake perfectly cooked fresh , chips spot on , my only small complaint is the curry sauce was very watery and bland but overall very nice
Battered chips are a revelation! Food cooked fresh. Staff very polite and pleasant. Absolutely no complaints. We'll be back!
Been here a few times now seems the staff do not know how to cook food.or store cooked food. Donner meat tastes strange think cut and stored in metal bin taste rank. Fish on a number of occasions tasted off. Chips sometimes overcooked or re cooked Overall won't be using this chip shop again.
wow!!! What can i say about the food that is positive at all?? Nothing.... Over cooked poor quality cheap kebab thats clearly days old from how dry it was. After calling the chippy i was met with rudness and arrogant chat. Top it of took a sip of the pop to taste a bitter taste and it was only 2 months out of date. will be reporting this place AVOID AVOID AVOID
