Genuinely one of the worst Chinese takeaways I've ever had, chicken balls were soggy, rice and chips were glued together and had a weird taste, chips were cold and squashed, mini pancake rolls were literally just pancake rolls, squashed flat with nothing in the middle. Absolutely will not be ordering from here again
Entire house winds up with food poisoning about 24-48 hours AFTER eating here. Ive used this place for a while and recommended them to some friends as I was staying over for a night. I split my chicken balls with everyone as I had ordered a fair bit for myself. Low and behold we all wind up ill apart from the only person who did not have Chicken Balls. Our local was takeaway was taken over by new owners and has not been the same. We have been looking for a good takeaway since. Think we found it at Eden Garden! Had chicken chow mein - nice taste and enough chicken. Singapore vermicelli - nice taste nice and light dish. Salt and pepper chips with curry sauce were excellent - so tasty. Definitely recommend. I ordered for pick up. Parking a bit tricky at the roundabout. Take away is clean - nothing spectacular to look at but you not eating in so doesn't matter. Staff lovely, friendly and efficient. Have one happy husband - definitely recommend! (Take away not husband)
House Special Chow Mien has a complete absence of taste, meat, veg and seafood swimming in a bland sauce. I didn't feel like cooking but would have done a far superior job. I'll re-cook the meal using the ingredients myself tomorrow adding garlic, spices and soy.Also, pineapple fitters - no words, awful!
Honestly the best Chinese I've had, and I've tried lots. So delicious every single time. Well done to the chef!! If you haven't tried here do it! You won't be disappointed :)

Lived in Shirley in the last 4 years. I have tried numerous Chinese takeaway in the area but always come back to the Eden Garden. Their sweet and sour pork is a “must” try item. I ordered it every time. Would recommend this place.
Oh boy - this has become my first choice for Chinese takeaway in South Birmingham. I've yet to encounter a disappointing dish from this place. If you like your roast meats, the three meat delicious is a treat. If you want to keep it simple, try the salt and chilli chips with any of their fantastic sauces (bbq and curry top the list for me).
