Ordered through Just Eat twice, The mixed grill is delicious. The chicken has some lovely marinade on it. Always hot and quick delivery. Will highly recommend. The Chicken wrap is also delicious and The garlic sauce is lovely.

I ordered a cheese samosa but was shocked when a meat samosa arrived instead! As vegetarians who have never eaten meat, this was completely unacceptable. Additionally, I had ordered pasta with a lamb kebab but instead received rice and salad. When I called to ask about it, they simply told me the pasta had run out and offered no other options. This lack of communication and disregard for our dietary preferences is extremely disappointing.

Delicious Syrian lamb kebab wraps here that are my favourite. Serve other delicious kebabs with rice and other options too. Top Marks for this hidden gem. The half chicken and rice is amazing too along with the homemade burgers. Be sure to get some freshly squeezed orange juice with your meal. Top marks

One of the best places to have authentic Arabic food. They serve the best shawarma wrap. Heart shaped felafels taste great. Their mix grill is worth it. Great food, highly recommended.

A lovely restaurant with traditional regional food, Old Damascus does not fail to deliver. I have ordered from this restaurant on several occassions, and have recently visited in store, and have made several observations. They accept card and have indoor seating. An open kitchen, O.D cooks everything infront of you, and you can see how everything is clean and well made with care. Service, upon entering, I was instantly greeted. Order, I made several requests, which were all expertly catered to, such as customisation of my order (specific salads), I asked to pay upfront and was allowed to do so and I was given a wide choice of drinks. Upon making my order I was shown to my seat and had my order taken to me, it was not the fastest service of food, but this is not quick to cook food, and it is all made fresh, so the time was adequate and very pleasant. After I had finished eating, I was told that I could leave my plate and it would be cleared for me. I ordered a chicken shawarma meal, it was very hot, juicy and delicious well cooked chicken, the wrap was crunchy and stretch, simply beautiful. The chips could have been slightly better, but that is personal opinion, they were also very nice. The sauces here are gorgeous. Lovely hardworking staff that deserve full respect for their craft and dedication for delivering good service and food. Attentive staff, good food and pleasant atmosphere, this restaurant is worth a visit.

If you've never tried one of their platters, you're missing out. I'm more than happy to travel 20 miles to eat at this place and it's a breath of fresh air to have Syrian/Arab food which feels like it nourishes the soul as opposed to the oil soakes rubbish that is the in the surrounding shops. Anyone that has experienced life outside of chicken and chips and has a more varied palette will appreciate this!

This is one of my 4 best places to eat out in Birmingham so far for Arabic/Syrian. I've eaten in other Arabic places and by far the food quality, service and flavours are amazing here in comparison. I mostly get the grilled salmon or sea bass (it's a whole sea bass, and it's not a small one) with their authentic rice and salad. Sometimes I get half rice and half fries and that's awesome they allow that without being difficult like some places. I've gotten the mixed grills before and that was also great but as I rarely eat animal meat now, it's not an option I go for now. They provide Syrian style tea all ready and hot near counter, just help yourself with the glasses or plastic cups to takeaway. Tastes great and matches against the Karak chai at Chaiiwala whilst cheaper. Although it isn't as glamorous as other large restaurants, it's clean, authentic in it's food, great prices in comparison, great portions and friendly staff who are from their home country. It's a place I always go back to after trying other new places.
