   I’ve been to Lasani Karahi twice, and while my first visit was alright, my second visit went completely downhill. To be fair, the lamb chops starter was nice, but that’s about where the positives ended. I ordered a meat curry, but it was literally half full of bones with barely any meat. It felt like I paid for a bowl of bones instead of an actual curry. What really ruined the experience was what happened next. About ten minutes into eating—and we were still clearly eating—one of the waiters came over, slapped the bill down on our table, and just stood there waiting for us to pay. He didn’t say a single word, didn’t step back, and wouldn’t leave our table until we paid. It was awkward, rude, and made us feel rushed for no reason. Honestly, the combination of poor food quality and unprofessional service has completely put me off.

   I hate going to desi places. I am a vegetarian and the only options I end up with are mix veg curry or Paneer. This place had other options. I opted for Karela, but they had bindi too. Taste wise they were average, not stand out wow but not I would never ever again. Overall a good meal, that felt it was home cooked. Thats a positive. Price wise and I was impressed. Good size portions and good value for money. Seating is a little mish mash and a little confusing but the place is larger at the back. Overall, would I go again...yes a good few times.

   My family and I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now, and we've always had wonderful food and service. The restaurant isn't the most luxurious but it more than makes up for that with the best karahi in Birmingham! The grills are also very good and are always freshly made. The service from the team is always on point, with every member being kind, helpful and welcoming. The food is exceptionally good value too, with a hearty meal for for people only costing around £50! Parking is always a bit of a chore in Small Heath but persevere as this place is a local gem.

   We visited this Friday and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, especially the karahi, and the staff were respectful and friendly. It wasn't overcrowded which made the karahi even more enjoyable. The only thing I personally didn’t enjoy was the chicken tikka, as it lacked a bit of salt and spice for my taste — but others might like it. Overall, I highly recommend this place for good food and a family)-friendly atmosphere.

   We visited here after a day at Drayton Manor and as this place had good reviews, we thought we'd try it. The food really hit the spot. We ordered the large tawa platter (£75) and everything was absolutely delicious, especially the lamb curry. The roast chicken was also very tasty. It was more than enough for 4 adults and 4 kids and we still had some leftovers. Didn't have to wait too long for the food either. For great milkshakes and juices, try Juice 4 Life on the same road.

   Just okay.... nothing to write home about. The place looks deceptive from the front since their family section is in the back. Service was okay too. We went there for a Chicken karahi, but also ordered chicken biryani since it was special for the day. Biryani came out hot, but it tasted old and not too fresh - it tasted more like mediocre biryani. Then, chicken karahi was served with fresh Naan. The karahi was a little on the sweet side since the base is onion paste heavy with spices. The chicken was not juicy and didn't came off the bones easily. Overall, the food didn't deserve more than three stars. I'll pass on the karahi at this place.

   Almost was going to go as the shop front is a bit misleading. However glad we did go. Restaurant seating is at the back and all very clean. Staff are very polite and friendly. We ordered the lamb and chicken karahi, seekh kebabs and wings. All very good.

   The place looks shabby from the outside. The first half of the shop looks like a takeaway. However, at the rear half, there is comfortable sofa-style seating and good clean tables. The wife reluctantly entered the place as it didnt look appealing. We ordered a seekh kebab roll, the six grilled wings and both the half kilo of lamb karahi and chicken karahi. All of the food was tasty and well made. The lamb karahi had too many bones for my liking.The price was very reasonable at £30 for four of us. I'd definitely visit again. Service was also very good. The lady serving was very friendly, polite and attentive. Would have got five stars if they could improve overall ambience.

   Fantastic among the pakistani food restaurants in the area. One of the best lamb karahi . Service is quick , very polite and friendly staff. Quality and quantity of food is fantastic. Average ambience. They have small and large mix grills . Small will b enough for 2 people and was awesome in taste. Thandoor roti and garlic naan was outstanding.Pocket friendly . They have kids meal combo also. Will accept cash and card. Easily noticeable from heavy traffic. Parking is an issue, we may need to b lucky to get a near by parking space.
