   Great experience here. Lovely food and a very personal and attentive service. Extremely busy when we arrived, however they were very welcoming and gave us a temporary table to wait at until a more convenient and comfortable table became available. Very authentic and flavoursome dishes. The traditional Borthas were a delight. Parking available off road and easy to locate. Highly recommend this if visiting Birmingham

   We got recommended this food place and it did not disappoint. The food , hospitality, and the service was amazing. Everything we ordered was up to our standards , if not better! The gentleman Mamun was so kind and generous. He treat us like his own, he looked after us very well. If you want to go anywhere for Asian / desi food, I would highly recommend to come to poncho khana!

   I visit Poncho Khana at least twice a month, and it never disappoints! Their akhni biryani, kala bhuna, and fish curry are all packed with flavour - honestly some of the best Bangladeshi food around. My personal favourite is breakfast items and special Bangladeshi Chicken biriyani which can be found on every Friday. I always finish off with their amazing golap jamun and jelapi, which are a must-try! The staffs are super friendly, the place is clean, and the food tastes authentic every single time. Highly recommend!

   Food took a little while to come out to us, maybe 30-40 minutes after ordering however we did ask for starters and mains to come together so that could be why. The food itself was really nice. Every dish we ordered was perfect if you want a genuine Bangladeshi meal this is one of the few places to visit in my opinion!

   Excellent fusion food and great value for money! We went as a group of 20+ to celebrate a birthday and staff were accomodating and managed to merge some tables for us to sit us close together. The menu has a great selection of food from traditional niche Bangladeshi dishes, to other varieties such as lobster, steak and burgers. I was literally spoilt for choice as prices seemed a lot less than equivalent dishes at competing restaurants. Our group tried a variety of dishes such as burgers, rice, curries, lamb chops and stakes. The food was very good overall, curries had traditional flavours, tasted like they spent time preparing them but would have been better if it had a little more spice added. Burgers and stakes were also nice, well cooked and good flavours. The food is definitely up there as one of the better places to go for family dining and doesn't hurt the wallet. Staff were very friendly and incredibly patient with our energetic children. They were also kind enough to hold on to a cake we bought for the birthday boy and came out with a lit candle, sung Happy Birthday with us, provided bowls and cutlery for the cake and took group photos and videos for us so nobody was left out in our pictures. I would highly recommend this Poncho Khana for a family evening out!

   I was a regular customer of this restaurant before the pandemic. The interior and food were not great then. But things have changed, they have done a renovation recently. The interior is nice now and the food is also great. One should try special murgh pulao dish. This dish is only prepared on Fridays.

   Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service! I ordered a lamb tawa with white rice. They gave me a lovely presented salad before hand and even a small cute dish of pickle! The food was lovely and the smooth Eastern music in the background added to the lovely ambience. Top notch EDIT: Came again and the sagwala was amazing
