   Really nice place, food was amazing I had the chicken masala could of been abit spicier but that's just my preference, the staff where very attentive and the atmosphere was nice and tranquil, I would definitely return. And you can take ur own alcohol

   Visited today for a sit in meal for my husband’s birthday. We used to sit in a lot before moving house in 2017. It’s still the same folk. We have had the odd takeaway. Which is always brilliant. Tandoori chicken breast starters and mains usually the North Indian garlic chilli chicken and chicken Pathia. Which are to die for. Today we sat in as we are aware of the new refurbishment. Plus we wanted to try some different dishes. The food was fantastic. Quick and friendly service. A lovely clean restaurant. Great value for money. We really enjoyed it and have vowed to make the effort to sit in more often. Well worth a visit.

   We as a family have been using Simla for years. Only ever had takeout but decided for my 50th we would sit in for a meal. What a lovely end to my birthday, Food was delicious as always, Staff so helpful and friendly. I even got presented with Chocolates and a card from the owner which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend for a meal in or takeout you won’t be disappointed.

   Chose delivery as always and got a text to say ready for collection I rang Simla to say I ordered delivery. And said if u want your meal you have to pay more, meal was average and warm and no poppadums as we normally get with 2 main meals and would of gave minus 2 stars if allowed , delivery driver just laughed at me when I asked why it wasn’t delivered and said I want £3 before you have the meal cheers Simla I won’t be ordering from you again great customer service

   After an away day and beer, there's nothing better than a good curry. What a gem of a restaurant this place is. Food is bursting with taste, spice and comes out piping hot. Service very good. Friendly and welcoming. After two lamb madras, a lamb vindaloo and a simla special, we left Simla full up and all insisting we will come back the next time we visit Walsall.
