Food was awful. Chicken and some other dark meat so dried up and burnt I couldn't tell what it was. Won't be returning.

I ordered food at 5.05pm. I was told during my call placing the order that the food would be ready in 10 minutes. I knew I was going to be longer than that. I also knew that the food wouldn't be piping hot as I was later than 10 minutes. In fact I was almost an hour late. Which I was prepared for as I knew the food wouldn't be as hot. I got there only to find my food wasn't ready i still had to wait while it was being prepared. I dont think this is acceptable, even though I was aware of being late. The male at the counter said they tell everyone 10 minutes but dont prepared until the customer arrives. Its bit of a concern for me and Waste of my time.

Jade Garden has been our favourite take away since we moved into the area more than 10 years ago. The food is always very good, and when it arrives it's on time and still hot thanks to the friendly and efficient staff.

Have had takeaway food many times from Jade Garden and on the whole it has delivered on my expectations. Other than a couple of individual portions (fried rice & chips each on two separate occasions) that were 1/5 the other couple hundred portions over past few years have been 4 & 5 / 5. PS: Google opening times don't always match actual. What I do really like about the owner & family is the total honesty: VEGETARIANS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING..... I eat almost anything so long as it's tasty and will not kill me - fast or slowly - but in the family are staunch vegetarians and so it was a big shock when the owner gave a candid response to a query especially knowing he would lose 90% of my/our future business. The standard practice for takeaways is to make large batches of curry sauce that have a chicken stock within its base set of ingredients; this sauce is used as a straightforward "extra" on the menu but also is the sauce used in every curry dish, whether meat based, such as chicken, or vegetable based such as "mushroom curry" or "mixed vegetable curry". FURTHERMORE: the woks are only wiped between orders, not cleaned to any significant degree, which is why the owner told me he could not categorically state ANY dish, including the chips, wouldn't have a trace of meat contamination. I have challenged other takeaways that put a vegetarian symbol against dishes and every single one eventually confirms this practice. Admittedly two stubborn takeaways only confirmed the practice after I made up a fictitious illness whereby animal protein would give a serious reaction if eaten by one of the people I was ordering for. So, a big thumbs-up for Jade Garden.

Worst chicken chow mein eaten ever. Cold ingredients mixed with hot. Chicken, raw onions, raw cold noodles not cooked properly. Can tell they rushed to push the food out. Will defiantly not visit again

We've been using Jade Garden for a few years. We have tried most local alternatives but they're the tastiest, even compared to considerably more expensive local restaurants. Salt and chilli chips are especially great.

Fabulous meal, first try of a new take away. Food was great, quality of ingredients was very high and the won ton soup was actually soup! Not like the cabbage water from other places. Highly recommend. Thanks

Just got back home from picking up the order. Portions were in small cartons, we used to love the garlic and chilli battered chicken. Not anymore it was bland tasteless. The other dishes ordered r was a sloppy chow mein without flavour a cold curry sauce also devoid of taste . In fact evething was just plain and below average. It was expensive too at£36. Gone down hill and certainly wouldn't recommend this place
