The chips were tasty. The fish was tasty too. I was disappointed at the size of a large fish it was only a small/medium size. You don't mind but when other chippy's give you a large cod it lives up to its description. Nice guys though....lovely service with a smile.

Whilst the mushy peas were soupy, the fish was succulent with a lovely crisp batter. The chips were the best that I've had in a long time.

I have used this chip shop for a couple of years now when I first started to use it the quality of the food and price was spot on probably one of the best I had ever used ever since it changed owners it started to drop in quality and noticed a few price increases but that happens went there after work and it’s just a different place now seems quite grubby in places noticed the soft drinks fridge needed a good clean and it’s got very expensive most of my food ended up in the bin won’t be using it again

Great local chippy. Fresh food and nice people. One of the better priced places in the area as well so i would recommend it.

What an utter disappointment! Portions were huge but the taste was lacking, potatoes were the cheaper wholesale variety with a strange bitter flavour. The biggest disappointment was the fish the batter was a complete disaster it didn’t resembles battered cod more like freezer battered fish which I don’t like the texture did not resemble cod at all and tasted strange. I have visited and reviewed many chip shops and this will be one that sticks in mine for all the wrong reasons
