The chips were tasty. The fish was tasty too. I was disappointed at the size of a large fish it was only a small/medium size. You don't mind but when other chippy's give you a large cod it lives up to its description. Nice guys though....lovely service with a smile.

Whilst the mushy peas were soupy, the fish was succulent with a lovely crisp batter. The chips were the best that I've had in a long time.

We had POW chippy deliver to our function last night. Over 50 orders,arrived on time very hot,well labelled food as everyone chose off the menu. Delicious food which helped the evening go with a swing
Recently discovered this place. Will be my go-to from now on I think. Decent portions, decent prices, tasted pretty fresh.
Rather disappointed on my last visit, the Roe and chips were fine, but the large Cod was very expensive and half the size than the last time we went, and the fish wasn't cooked fresh, it was hard, obviously been re warmed up from the lunch time, We won't be going again.
Really good! Really good chips and the Fish was excellent too. the only disappointment is they have stopped doing the `Cod Father`
I do have a chippy that l call my regular place, but recently have been using this one. It has to be a pretty good place when sometimes you have to deal with large queues.
