Love this place. Absolutely fire food and great prices. Not your hit and miss type place, consistent quality and taste. The chutney is an absolute must. So much so in fact that you could literally drink this stuff haha.
Didn't realise this place was there until I started searching for alternative spring rolls when our local put theirs up to 60p each. Sangam 2 sells theirs at great prices for samosas and spring rolls (35p and 45p) and spring rolls were much bigger and tastier. My daughter collected and said the owner was lovely and friendly too. Will definitely start using this as our new local now, wish we had discovered it earlier!
Love the samosas and spring rolls freshly made as always allround good prices. is it white tablecloth hign end dinning? NO however the food is good value home style cooking.
too much waiting time .. people come to takeaway to get food quick .. need to improve that .. got samosas and chilli paneer after 30 mins wait
Have been in a few times and ordered the same items the price varis from visit to visit,no clear pricing on anything they seem to charge depending on who you are and certain people tend to get served before you,for this reason i shall not be using them anymore i think trading standards should be made aware of the fact there is no prices on anything,also the fact you have to ask if you want a reciept which is written not produced from the till is also suspicous
Service was painstakingly slow as usual. No prices on display, and when asked about price list we were told that menus are going to be ordered soon. Last year we were told the same thing and the year before we were told the same thing too, it seems they do not want to display prices as then they can charge you whatever they please. Very dishonest and illegal if you ask me.
Spent over £60.00 and pre-ordered most of the food. Owner was unfriendly, unorganised, plus card machine wasn't working so we were there longer than apparently the signs state is allowed (about 35 mins). Owner failed to notify about the parking bays he owns which are camera monitored and received a £100.00 PCN. Spoke to the owner who said he would get it cancelled, but has ignored any contact since. Have now received a final notice and calls from the parking company. Really disgusting service, would never go there again. Beware of parking bays, cameras and shoddy service!!!! No amount of samosas are worth £160.00 and they're not even that great tbh
Just bought a selection of Pakora and 6 veg samosas. First impressions was I felt a little out of place and with no pricing anywhere, was a little hard to understand what was what, buying what I know I like, the veg samosas I think he said 35p each. There was a selection of pakora which I asked 2 of each. No price was mentioned and I think it went off weight. There was a selection of curries that looked really good but again not sure what they were or how much they cost. £9.20 for my samosas and pakora and back home everyone loves what I’ve brought back. The food is very good quality. I would recommend the food from here, I understand the shop isn’t fully open due to restrictions with covid-19, I hope to next time find a menu and try some things I’ve never had before.
