   DON’T EAT HERE!!! I found a dead spider amongst my chips. I am completely disgusted. Upon bringing this to the staff’s attention they were reluctant to give me a full refund and showed no sense of urgency to tend to the issue or to prioritise food hygiene practices.

   The older ladies in the store are really friendly. The younger Greek lady (I’d say approx mid 20’s) isn’t very friendly. Very rude and rushed even when the chippy was empty. Shame really as used to be a lovely chippy. Poor customer service.

   Had a 21st birthday party at Pigeons Parlour in Great Barr on Saturday evening. Wanted a chippy tea for 25 people. Visited Chris’s fish bar a while back, sampled the food and were happy with the service. Took a list early last week with all the details and then picked the food up on Saturday evening. Cannot fault the staff, were able to add three extras on midweek, then Saturday everything was ready on time, all labelled, all freshly cooked. They carried it to the car for us too! Absolutely can’t fault the service, the quality of the food and the overall experience. Excellent. Would highly recommend and am so thankful we used Chris’s fish bar as it made the whole experience and party go so smoothly. Thankyou!!!

   The food was prepared quickly and was really tasty. Although I only opted for a portion of chips, the large portion could easily serve a family of 4 so it was great value for money. We also tried their Christmas specials of deep fried mars bar and deep fried mince pie. I would very much recommend both (although the mars bars cinches it for me!) as a wonderful little treat!

   That owners daughter needs to be sacked immediately, her attitude is foul dirty looks as soon as you step foot in, dopey and forgets everything you say to her and when you repeat it she’s rude!, she’s the reason I will never be coming back ! Me and many others on here can agree so it’s time to take action! .
