   The current 2.7 rating is inflated, the food was inedible, overcooked, as hard as a board and the few chips I do try, were full of grease with no taste!

   Chips were hard, brown, cooked several times, over cooked. The chips tasted fish. 3 standard bags, were large portions cost £7.20. Long wait time for what looks like cooked several times. Looks like oil never been changed. Grease all up counter, skirting board loose by the door. Sellotape hanging from the ceiling. Tasted chips- vile. Threw all 3 bags away! Do not recommend. Waste of money.

   Chips were like cardboard, refried from previous day, fish was cold. Things missing from order. Reordered on JustEat a few weeks later as I used to love this place, but they cancelled the order after 40 mins of order being placed, with no reason. Rang the restaurant, rude on the phone, refused to answer questions, then stated “I will ring you back”, hung up and never did. Will not be ordering from here again. Disappointed.

   I ordered through Just Eat and restaurant accepted my order, took my money and then cancelled the order- keeping my money! This happened on 16th January and even with complaints through Just Eat, I'm now having to get my bank involved to try get my money back. AVOID!

   Waited over an hour for delivery, food was cooked to a decent standard. Not the best chippy in the world but not too bad.

   I visited here earlier on today ( 27th October 22 ) around 5pm, with my 2 daughters and my Dad. I arrived at the chip shop and was greeted by a lady, the lady then asked what we would want to order (( there was only me in the shop and was no queue etc and nobody else in there ) I placed my order and the lady said there would be a “ short “ wait. I agreed and said that’s okay no problem… still waiting in there with my 2 children now getting restless and crying.. 40 minutes later the food was ready but the food was wrong after waiting 40 minutes and then told us to wait again. No way was we was waiting even longer for something we had just waited 40 minutes for! We then got home and the chips was all burnt and crispy and black. There was no apologies of how long we had been waiting.

   I placed a £23 order ...got home 2 portions of chips missing 2 fritters missing .he told me it will take 10 minute's. 40 minute's later still not ready ....chips were old old old.... ...avoid this place

   Moved to the area recently and had a chippy from here on the day we moved in, firstly the chips were rotten! Burnt and no taste. Fast forward a few weeks to tonight, had a doner kebab meal with salad, now as you can see from the photo there's hardly any salad! 2 pieces of cucumber and a few bits of onion! Where's the lettuce, tomato, white cabbage?? Won't be coming here again! Much prefer The Mermaid chip shop in Walsall Wood high street
