As someone who is used to roosters, since 2018 when the building was over the road. I wont be returning. Left the shop, ate in the car, chips were nice and hot , the strips and the burger was cold. The cheese not even a bit melted. Couldn't taste it like normal. The sauce also cold. Disappointed.
When i recived my order the curry juice tasted like flavourd water... the roti was dence and soggy the "meat" was chunks of bone. Absaloutly descusting i think trading standerds are going to make a trip robbing poeple claiming theres meat... charging for mean dishing up bones.
Gave us mouldy food. Called up to complain and they just offered us new food, as if I want more food from the mouldy place
I ordered a simple chicken curry and white rice once i dished up the food i tucked into the chicken bits only to find my self chokeing to the point i couldnt breath and almost passing out luckly my partner. walked in on time to saved me only to find out that their were bits of bones. So once i gathered my self Together. i looked deeper into my curry. and to find tone of different sized bones iv had different. currys in my life but never had this situation it was really scary that i could of died so i phone up the restaurant i explained what happened. And by the way they was talking it sounded like they didnt care and that it was normal so when i asked for a refund they said no Because. the manager wasnt in. So i emailed food health and saftey team with evidence. because. This is a food health And safety matter what if a child. Was in that situation i looked at the reviews. only to find i wasnt the only one who had bones in their food this restaurant don't. Care about the saftey of others
First time ordering from here and I was highly disappointed. I ordered 2 chicken currys OF THE BONE with Naan bread, 2 white rice and fries. I recieved 2 currys both chicken on the bone, rice was ok and chips were incredibly salty. Not happy at all. Won't be ordering from here again.
I ordered the menu called Chef's special. The lamb rib is very delicious, no bad smell. The price is reasonable. The staffs are also friendly. I would give 5 stars, if the restaurant is more clean and new.
My partner got this and said it was one of the best chicken wings and chips he's ever had. strongly recommend
Food was absolutely bland at best. Customer service for other diners left something to be desired. A couple of students finished eating and left their mess on table. The guy behind the counter told them to put in the bin before they left. They do chicken, Turkish and Caribbean food. They obviously can’t make their minds up. Jack of all cuisines and a master of none. If your hungry, don’t bother. Just walk a few metres further up Bristol Road.
Not a bad chicken shop. Used to be super cheap with "OK" quality but seemed to have stepped their game up. Always enjoyed a quick bit of grub here and always enjoyed the Caribbean food that was on offer
Used to live close to here so came or ordered regularly. First came here 3 years ago. Never been let down. Food halal so good for me and my family. Very happy to recommend Roosters to anybody.
